How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
We will begin by discussing your goals and what you wish to get out of your training sessions . By establishing your “why” this gives you the focus and motivation and me the ability to develops a plan to help you achieve this . Without a plan one is simply doing as hoc workouts which is of course great for being active but often this means as hoc results.
We will also look at your lifestyle and diet as they both are integral to an exercise programme.
Sessions will be structured but not rigid as one can never account for how they will be on a given day .
During the course of our time together we will adjust our plan as appropriate and as often as we need to as life is never rigid.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
Consistency is everything !
Showing up when your with me or when your doing extra activity away from me whether that be clocking up sailing steps , a class , a programme I have written for you .
It’s also about taking adequate rest between sessions , sleep , diet and lifestyle .
When we are consistent with all of these 80% of the time then we get results .
What do you love most about your job?
Helping people connect with their bodies and seeing them get the results they want .
What inspired you to start your own business?
I like the freedom of being able to work out of a gym or visit a client at home . It also means I can do other projects and I frequently write for the press so I need that time at my own desk too .
