Beyond The Veil Bridal

Beyond the Veil was the first store I visited when trying on wedding dresses. I had recently lost a significant amount of weight and was still apprehensive about how my body would look in a wedding dress. I was helped by Anne, who could tell I was super nervous. She listened to my concerns and helped me to relax. She helped to pick out several dresses based on my description of what I wanted and was extremely helpful. It turned out the big ballgowns I thought would look good were not as flattering as I had thought and Anne helped me find a fit and flare that really flattered my new figure. I ultimately ended up ordering a different dress, but in that same silhouette and color. I tried on dresses at a few other shops after that but went back to Beyond the Veil, partly because of the excellent service I received. My dress arrived two months late, which was not their fault, and Jeff kept me up to date as he received communication back from the Maggie Sottero factory. Once my dress arrived, Marissa took great care in getting the straps and fit exactly right for me. My veil was a unique piece with rose gold embroidery that matched my blush dress perfectly! I walked into the shop today without an appointment after the dress I ordered at another shop arrived and I HATED it. My wedding is in 3 weeks so I was super freaked out. Mary helped me try on about 20 dresses before finding the perfect one. Knowing I live over an hour away they measured me on the spot for alterations. The owners are warm and loving and I left elated. I didn't get my dress from here but I did bring my dress here to get alterations and Marissa was AMAZINGGGG!! I am beyond happy with every adjustment she made. She even added a bit to the back of the dress that was perfect; it balanced the whole look. She was also so brave for attempting the french bustle even though my dress is chiffon and multiple layers, it came out beautiful... The store front appeared small but on the inside there was so much more, an abundance of delights. The service was wonderful, caring and attentive. I pulled several gowns that were gorgeous on the hanger but not so much on me, then she pulled one out that I would not have picked and it brought me to tears, just like my love, it was "The One". They have a huge selection of beautiful gowns in every silhouette, and in plus sizes too. You can glam up your dress too, with dazzling embellishments, belts, tiaras etc. I treated such loving kindness, no stress or pressure. Behind the front of the store are more gowns, a sitting parlor with gentle lighting, furnished in kind of an elegant bohemian vibe. I was offered refreshment and rest as we considered the rest of our bridal needs. I am older and larger and to be treated so thoughtfully made this a beautiful experience in preparing for my and my Husband's special day. Just got done with my final dress fitting. Marissa Asplund did an amazing job. I got my dress, veil, and shoes from here. They are so friendly, professional and most of all they do amazing work . Even my fiance got his tuxedo from here. Definitely RECOMMEND shopping here. It's a completely different experience than going to a traditional David's Bridal. I felt so special and valued here. This shop was beautiful. I visited with a friend to search for a bridesmaid dress for her for a wedding she's attending, and the staff was so kind and helpful, but the entire atmosphere of the shop had me hearing wedding bells myself! I was looking to try on dresses the day of because I had to go back to College that same day, I called beyond the veil because I had previously looked in there. They managed to arranged an appointment for me that same day! Amazing flexibility, I had previously seen my dream dress and when I tried it on I knew it was the one.
Jillian who was the associate who helped me was amazing, I am very shy but she made me feel confortable trying on dresses and I never felt rushed!

I loved my experience at Beyond The Veil Bridal. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, I felt like I was being taken care of. The staff were extremely friendly and caring as well as the owner. They allowed me to share my interests and look through different dresses with them. Each dress I liked, I tried on with the help of Ana, the employee, and was able to take time and explain what I liked or didn’t like about the dress. When I picked the perfect dress, the owner himself gave my fiancé and my marriage a blessing and toasted. I took a picture with a sign stating that I said yes to the perfect dress and walked away with my dream dress in my hands. I said yes to the dress and it was such a wonderful and memorable experience. First of all the location is beyond gorgeous. When we went it wasnt over crowded and it was so clean and classy. There was plenty of room in the dressing room. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We were there for only and hour and half and we were able to find the perfect dress for the perfect price. I would definitely recommend this store. Best dress shopping experience EVER! Makenzie, Tamara, and Jeff treated me like a princess. I have never felt more at home, or beautiful than I felt tonight. I have last minute plans for NYE and needed a gown, I found two that are absolutely stunning! One was a perfect fit, the other requires alterations. Of course, the one I want to wear in less than 48 hours is the one that needs altering, but no problem for this amazing shop. Tamara must have a magic wand, my dress will be ready by noon Monday. I first found them at their original location. I called them with little notice as I was enroute. They squeezed me in. I arrived to Ann. She was simply delightful. We had a great experience. She found out what I looked and made great recommendations. I narrowed it down to 4 gowns but needed to bring my mother back for her input. It was my first dress shop. Then they moved. Their second location was not as bridal as the first but all the magic had not been completed. Ann was not there when I returned but the beautiful Pam was. I loved her. She was so helpful and honest. Absolutely amazing. Everyone was so friendly. We were visiting family in Vancouver and myself, my future MIL and my future SIL stopped into just look around. The owner was amazing he encouraged me to try on anything I would like. The third dress I put on( not what I ever though I would wear) was the dress. I started to cry because I looked so amazing in the dress. They held the dress over night just so I could sleep on it. She hates dresses, hates shopping, and Jeff and Anastasiya actually got her to love this process. I've never experienced better customer service, or seen a staff who go so far out of their way to ensure your true satisfaction. The pricing was great, alteration appointments already scheduled, and the actual business is gorgeous!! You feel warm and invited from the minute you walk in. I had the best experience here!!! Their seamstress has worked miracles on my dress! I originally bought my dress in February at David’s bridal, since July I’ve lost 50 lbs. I put my dress on and was devastated because I was swimming in it! The seamstress calmed me and had a vision, not only did she LITERALLY have to take my dress apart, take four inches all around off, hem and bustle it, but she was so kind and gracious doing so. I’ve spent numerous hours with her going over ideas, and being a mom of two, had to bring them with me. My dress looks better than it did originally and as we were talking her and the saleswomen spent quality time with both of my children making sure they were happy!!! I was so blown away with my appointment tonight that I had to write about it ASAP! First, the owner answered the phone and was so sweet with my situation! Basically, I had to get a new dress because my health left me unable to wear my mermaid dress. When I came in, Anastasia was so extremely helpful, friendly, and super sensitive of my budget! I fell in love with my first dress. She and Anne pulled strings to get me in the new dress at a wonderful price and were both so patient as I waited 45 minutes for my fiance to show up to approve.
