My daughter attended a terrarium making workshop for a friend’s birthday here. Her finished terrarium is absolutely stunning, we are thrilled with it! And by all accounts from my daughter and the other guests, the owner/teacher was lovely, a beautiful shop and a great afternoon had by all. Between Two Thorns is one of our favourite local florists, so we asked Alys whether she could help with our wedding and we're so glad that we did! We were really keen to keep waste to a minimum (so didn't want to use lots of fresh flowers) - instead, Alys came up with the ingenious idea of decorating the venue with lots of beautiful plants (potplants of different sizes, hanging baskets and terrariums) and it looked fantastic. The best place to buy plants in Brighton, the coffee is also brilliant. Always new and exciting plants at fair prices (much better than shops in the lanes). The staff are very knowledgeable and will happily answer any questions you have about plant care. Attended a terrarium workshop here and would seriously recommend it if you're interested in getting your own terrarium with a personal touch. If you don't have much money but still want nice plants then they often have a few plants on sale. One of my favourite shops in Brighton, couldn't recommend more! More...

I adore this shop! There are many florists and plant shops in Brighton but Between Two Thorns really stands out with its huge selection of succulents and other really unusual looking plants. They sell stunning ceramic pots as well. AND last but not least they run awesome art/florist workshops in their space, so don't miss out if you would like to learn a new fun skill! Welcoming and warmI stopped in for a brief visit with my husband and two year old son. We were welcomed by Alys with a big smile. The atmosphere is lovely with a gorgeous aroma of coffee and you are surrounded by fascinating, beautiful and unique plants. Alys is extremely clued up and talked us through some unusual plants. We ended up staying for ages, honestly the best plant shop in Brighton! I had previously done a wreath making workshop with Alys before Christmas and can highly recommend those too. Being a novice I was sceptical but Alys balances the right amount of advice/help with a fun and relaxed atmosphere creating a thoroughly unique and enjoyable experience and my wreath exceeded my expectations!!
