Dara and her staff are amazing. Ailene is a master at crafting workouts and sessions with her are more than just a workout. She is a great listener and each appointment has been great for my body and my mind. It is loads of fun, lots of sweat, and only kind encouraging words. My AMAZING fitness trainer was Dara. My favorite thing about her is that she is a REAL PERSON! I mean she was truly relatable. I did not ever feel judged with her. From the beginning, she was very honest about what I could expect, and very clear that I will get out as much as I put in. Working with Dara, I was able to strengthen and tone those areas of particular interest to me - the baby weight! Getting leaner has never been as hard or as FUN as this. I feel better about myself and my body, and I'm more confident that if/when I do fall off the wagon, Dara gave me a foundation that I can always return to and build up from. In an effort to find some time for me, and to improve my balance, my health and my core strength, I decided to visit Be Healthy Personal Trainer. They are a personal trainer near me, and Be Healthy provides personal training for many age groups, including mine: over 55. Dara is so on point. She listened to my desired goals, assessed where I was prior to starting her program, and most importantly shared her expertise in the area of strength training, balance and overall fitness. Dara understands the levels of ability at varying ages, and she understands that past and present injuries or conditions greatly affect the training and exercises one can acomplish. Dara never watched the clock - unless I was the one who had to leave on time. The facility is clean, open, large and very inviting to all who enter. Dara uses the equipment during her training sessions, as well as exercise bands, balls, weights, balance boards, and more. When I was on any piece of equipment, she was right there, encouraging me, checking proper form, checking any discomfort levels, providing support and guidance, as well as comfortable conversation. She answered any and all questions at the session, and by email for any follow ups. It is the most professional gym experience I have ever had. I cannot say enough about Be Healthy Personal Trainer. Gabrielle Nierenberg was my daughter's weekly fitness trainer for the last few months, and she did a fantastic job working with her on strengthening her muscles, toning, and getting leaner. She made the sessions fun by using upbeat music and varying the routine so that it was new and interesting each time -- even incorporating gymnastic moves, which my daughter loved! In just a few months, Gabrielle had taught my daughter to do a cartwheel, which she was so proud of, and I could visibly see the increase in strength in her arm muscles.Gabrielle was a true professional - she was always punctual for the sessions, and if she couldn't make it on time, she was responsible in communicating. During the sessions, Gabrielle's disposition was cheerful and upbeat , and she motivated my daughter to work her hardest by cheering her on. After the sessions, Gabrielle sent my daughter a comprehensive list of the workout exercises, along with specifically tailored homework exercises for her to do independently during the week. She also gave my daughter a lot of positive feedback on her session performance. My daughter always looked forward to her sessions with Gabrielle, which really says a lot. I have noticed a big difference in my daughter's self-esteem, attitude towards exercising, confidence and agility. Dara is a wonderful trainer. She is very conscientious. Dara not only listened but heard what I was saying. As a senior, I was looking for a trainer that would focus on issues related to my age and everyday tasks. Dara made an exercise plan that I could follow with her guidance at the gym and then on my own at home.We worked on core strength , balance as well as other issues.She gave me the confidence at the gym that carried outside too. I highly recommend Dara as a personal trainer. I was looking for someone who could address typical issues for someone in my age group - balance, flexibility, and strength. Dara and the Be Healthy Personal Trainer group is personable and highly effective training team who I would recommend to anyone. Dara really helped me find ways to target my problem area's in ways that are conducive for my preferred exercise style, and my body type. I am a runner so she also made sure she incorporated exercises that would make me a stronger runner, even though I didn't know to ask for that. She is funny, extremely responsive, and will make you want to work harder for yourself because she knows it's possible for you to succeed. One of the things I liked best about her was her willingness to push me even during times I didn't think I could be pushed. If I had all the money in the world I would pay Dara to kick my butt every morning, and I recommend you do the same. More...

She helped me to retrain my neck muscles after a car accident left me with a broken neck. She came to my house early before work, she was always on time, upbeat, and came with fun exercises and different equipment. She also was very attentive to my doing the exercises correctly. I began working with Dara after finding her off an internet search which already had great reviews. She was amazing, she really takes the time to do an assessment and go over what your goals are and trains you at the correct pace. I had an injury when I first started and Dara really tailored our workouts to accommodate and was always checking in and providing at home workouts to help. I would definitely recommend her and her company to beginners and non beginners as well. She's awesome & provides the motivation needed. More...

I can't even begin to explain the quality of coaching from Dara. She works at your own pace but is not afraid to push you within your own limits, which she is beyond knowledagable in. What separates Dara from other trainers is her ability to make sure your form and the exercises she plans for you are safe for you now and later. Thank you again for all you have done for me Dara! Dara is by far the best personal trainer in Somerset. Her emphasis on safety and injury prevention is perfect for anyone recovering from an injury but still want to stay in-shape.

After injuring my knee and going to physical therapy, Dara was able to create a personalized workout program for me that allowed me to keep moving and stay healthy. Dara is a delight to work with and makes every personal training session fun and enjoyable. Dara is the personal trainer to use in Central New Jersey.
