Moving to Colchester in 2005 opened up a greater audience to advertise and demonstrate how complicated bookkeeping exercises and specialist tax legislation can be utilized with ease. Clients were talked to in an easy understandable language, with the aid of short demonstrations within the initial consultation. In a nutshell, “Talking Your Language” was a catch phrase and still is.

At the end of any initial meeting an engagement letter is issue describing what business services can be offered for an exact fee. This engagement letter has to be signed, but not immediately. It is described that at any time in the next few days or weeks clients can make contact to meet up again for any questions and/or to hand over the signed documents. These can be posted and questions can be emailed to clear up any misunderstandings. So no one is forced to make decisions quickly, that way any new client can be confident.

We can look after all the banking for larger businesses and assist with branch and depot systems that need to be put in place. I enjoy helping people become successful.
Many businesses are clogged with poorly managed systems. In fact lots of businesses have no real system in place. I have helped a number of large businesses come for a small congested journey into an automated high end service provider with some simple systems installed. From software on websites for customer booking and ordering to online accounting solutions and staff schedules and reviews making every one feel important which makes the company make more money and happy customers too. I have a duty to my clients to keep their direction in site and this is normally a great life style. I love the success stories and being part of them. its always just a step away. Every thing is a step at a time, start that journey, lets talk. I love talking and growing rich.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My business was started because I believe we all should work hard at what we are good at and the only value from the hard work you put in is from hearing clients or people you've helped say how much it helped them and how much appreciated they are. Seeing peoples success on simple guidance is much better than doing the work for them. I like talking to people, discussing their needs and coming up with a easy solution that can increase through put. Show how easy something can be done and made to feel worth it. No one minds paying for something that is worth it and that's a great feeling. I reward people who take time to show they appreciate a good job done, such as a review or referrals and I feel all businesses should do the same. I can encourage that in my business and I have a say so that's why I work in my own business.

Clients choose me as their accountant because I ask about their business on the first meeting. I ask where do they get more customers from, how do they convert sales leads into sales, how do they get customers to spend more , how do they get customers to spend more often and how do they get customers to stay a customer longer. Because if my clients get busy so do I. New clients are not really interested in spending money on an accountant to simply pay tax, they really want a business consultant but think they are too expensive. So I offer what I know so they benefit when they most need to. To grow their business.
