I was impressed at Andrew's swimming career and his drive to be at his best in his personal life. When I saw that he was able to instruct me how to do the same, I couldn't pass up the opportunity! He helped me reach my fitness goals and create a lifestyle I could stick with. More...

Andrew has done an amazing job with our 6 year old son Joshua. Joshua had 8 swimming lessons with Andrew this summer and he went from being scared of the deep end to being able to swim all the way across the pool by himself! Andrew is very professional, knowledgeable, fun, organized, and patient. Joshua enjoyed the lessons very much and we plan to do more lessons with Andrew next summer! More...

Andrew is truly an elite trainer and fitness professional. He not only coaches on the movement of an activity he also explains why the range of motion needs to be that particular way. My body feels stronger than ever by developing muscles I had been ignoring thanks to Andrew! I would recommend Andrew to anyone at any fitness level at any age -ranging from athletes to someone who is interested in weight loss. More...

Q&As

Every client sits down with me for an in depth consultation. Not only do I take the time to get to know my clients as people, but I take the time to understand what their goals are and help them map out a clear plan to get there. Once we start training I assess the client's various strength, posture, endurance, and cardio levels to see where they need correction.

90% of a client's day is spent away from their trainer. It is vital to a client's success that they are taught, and learn habits and lifestyle changes they can make outside of their sessions so they can achieve their goals.

Commitment and dedication. The difference between them? Commitment is your obligation or the amount of time you put into your fitness program. Dedication is how much passion, or how much you care about your own goals. Trainers are a great resource not only for what types of exercises to do and when, but also to help keep you motivated when you need to be reminded about why you hired the trainer. Once a client is fully dedicated to their goals, it is important that they make a commitment to their program. You must consistently put in the work to achieve what you want.

Of course every trainer loves the joy they bring a client who makes it to their big goal. Whether that is a weight loss goal, or an athlete achieving something greater than they had before. However my favorite part of my job is the mile stones along the way. Clients start to notice they are sleeping better, or their pants are too big all of a sudden, or they have more energy throughout the day. These small victories to me mean they are listening and following their program outside of their workouts. I know that even if the clients stops training with me once they reach their big goals, I have instilled healthy habits they will carry with them to be healthier for the rest of their lives. That is what I love most about my job,

I had worked for a big chain gym company teaching fitness classes and training clients in the gym. However, with any big business all they care about is making money. The structure of their personal training is severely limiting to the trainer to effectively do his or her job, and a waste of time for the clients. I branched out on my own in the field because I could offer a better session, with longer session times, at a lower rate than the chain gyms and actually help a client rech their goals.
