What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Being fully YOU, as weird as it sounds! All of the best photographs / videos we have shot are a result of understanding exactly what the client's interests are, what they get up to outside of work, what makes them laugh and what music they love. The planned photographs look great and all, but there is nothing better than a candid shot.
We ask that you always talk to us on the phone, or face to face for a coffee or something stronger before we shoot your event so we can get to know you.
Oh, and skill / practice. Obviously that's important, so we've been practicing for over 5 years as a business growing each month :)
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
How has your week been?
What made you decide to look for a photographer / video for the occasion?
Can they explain their vision / what it would look like if we knocked this project out of the park? That will give us a brilliant reference point.
Do you require digitals, prints etc? What will these images be used for?
What message are we trying to give / is the project for a business campaign or do you just want a family portrait?
Times, places, numbers and email address? If we've got you excited, drop us your email and i'll fire you a quote over asap :)
What do you love most about your job?
It's lovely when a client returns for more business.
It's the best feeling when a client becomes a friend.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The love for capturing time & live music / socialising.
