Saw this place on Britain's Best Bakery and finally got around to trying it. Lovely staff who come around the counter to help you choose your bread. So many delicious looking cakes on display. I chose a cinnamon bun which was as light as a feather. Amazing! Hubby had a chocolate eclair which I stole a bite of....crisp choux pastry, fresh cream and the chocolate wasn't too sweet. We went into Baked in Tettenhall for the first time as part of an Easter hunt in Tettenhall yesterday. The staff were lovely with my daughter and the bunny biscuits she got were delicious. I returned after the hunt to get brownies, chocolate cake, shortbread and scones, all of which were amazing. I fear I may be spending a lot of money here in the future!!! More...

Another great visit to Baked. Not managed to get there for a while but an Easter Egg bought us in on Saturday and I wondered why it had been so long. ..I think the addiction will be back. Bought a delicious white loaf and a to die for sundried tomato and oregano special. My husband devoured a sausage roll and although I behaved this week, I was reminded how amazing the cinnamon buns are so I will be back next week!!! My favourites are definitely the sausage rolls. Oh and the scones, not forgetting the cinnamon buns (the Belgian ones too). Don’t get me started on the bread...well I’m gonna start anyway; walnut wonder, sage & onion, apple raisin, jalapeño & cheese are all my favourite. Currently eating an orange treacle tart, a new favourite. Perfectly crisp, thin, pastry and a gorgeously zesty filling. My only criticism... you are dangerously close to my work! More...
