Amazing place! Delicious food, super friendly staff, great music and vibe and epic cocktails! I always go for the Stay Gold (drink) and ceviche!
Had brunch there over the weekend. Wonderfully relaxing day and the weather was perfect. We sat indoors just inside the veranda but the outdoor seating looked very comfortable. It was a quiet day at the restaurant. Everyone in the restaurant looked relaxed and really enjoying their meals. We tried the Lomo Saltado, Beef Churrasco, Ceviche Mixto, Chaufa con Carne, and Aji de Gallina. All the dishes were fabulous. We only wished we could try a few more dishes but that wasn’t physically possible for out tummy’s. Will certainly go again. More...
I fell in love with this Peruvian restaurant! The best passion fruit pisco ever! Everything is fantastic! Music, food and service! All people there made me feel at home! El mejor platillo: lomo saltadoPd: happy hour 4:00pm-7:00pm More...
Dinner at Baby Basa was overall enjoyable. Food was excellent. I had the coconut rice with ribs, which my friends and I all enjoyed. The only thing we would comment is that it could have used an extra spare rib. It was very loud toward the evening but for the younger crowd it's OK. If you are a senior and hard of hearing, conversation would be a challenge. But the food was good. Ambience was good. We have no complaints. More...
Great music and atmosphere, service on point!Celebrated a birthday and everyone was well taken care of. Food & cocktails bring you right back to Peru! So was quite exciting to get some true taste of it in NYC More...
Super lively, get ready to dance! Delicious food. Strongly recommend the ceviche
Love the atmosphere, food and drinks here. The staff are really great too! Shout out to Spencer and the Austrian guy!
Good was good food, service was good but it was extremely loud. It was so hard to talk with my bf there. We basically had to scream. If you are looking for good Peruvian food, I would recommend this place. Maybe go during the slow times. More...
The decor is nice on the inside (faux plants & leaves) with a cute mural on the outside. We ordered a torched tuna tartare on a tostada & chicken empanada for an appetizer. For the entree, we ordered lomo saltado & the Amazon chaufa. While the food was tasty, the portions were rather small. The wait staff were very attentive More...
The food is Authentic Peruvian, everything I had there was incredible... the staff is great!! I've only been there for lunch, it was quiet and mellow but I want to go back and try dinner.. I've been told the food is amazing and the atmosphere even better... cant wait to go back More...
Absolutely loved to dine here. Very nice atmosphere, friendly stuff, food and drinks were delish. We'll definitely be back!
I stopped at Baby Brasa with my daughter for a light afternoon meal. I tasted their Pisco and we had chicken empanadas and the toaster tuna on avocado. The Pisco was excellent and the food was outstanding. We were delighted to be served decent portions where quality mattered over quantity. The place was nice and tidy and just right for an afternoon break. The service was prompt and the waiters friendly and truly helpful. We will be back. More...
Love this place so much, although they’ve raised the prices and made the portions smaller. Always treated very nicely and the food is delicious!
This restaurant is never short of amazing . The food is all fresh ingredients daily and the chefs in the kitchen are consistent. There’s usually live music or jazz , and late night the tables go out and the music goes up. It’s a little known but well received spot in the West Village , our friends loved it! More...
Baby Brasa is one of my favorite spots in the city. It’s always fresh and never lets us down. I’ve even started to use it as my go to lunch spot for co workers/staff meetings. BABY BRASA IS THE SPOT - try the PULPO! More...
Baby Brasa has been a favorite of mine since they moved to town. I have been in and out of the city a few times since, and recently they've stepped it up I think. The place is clean and well kept, inviting staff that makes you feel at home - and they deliver an amazing menu. Authentic Peruvian food done right. Domenique our host kept us entertained while we waited for a table (it can get busy so make a reservation) , weekends they turn it into an evening dance floor! More...

Nice ans fun
Nice but long wait...
This place is so cute!! WMy friend and I were going to another place nearby but ended up with Baby Brasa and boyy it was a good choice. Decor is cute and there are plenty of seats inside and outside. Lots of plants and instagrammable wall arts. We ordered a paella and a roasted bean sprout assuming paella would be served in a big pan but it was for one person actually. So if you eat normal portion get it for yourself only. There was plenty of seafood in the paella and perfectly seasoned. Bean sprout was also nice. We also got non alcoholic mohito which was refreshing and citric. The server guy was nice as well. More...
Food was amazing! The ceviche was a stand out as well as the mango salad and fried plantains. Definitely coming back!
Really great food, but not great service....waited a while to get our orders taken and had to ask multiple times for the check. They were out of the lomo saltado too..... More...
Good food. Servers and bus boys rush you though. plates and cutlery were removed twice while there was still food on the table.
Delicious, fresh, and wonderfully seasoned organic food. Great presentation! Interesting drinks. The ambiance is most pleasant and you get to enjoy live entertainment while you dine. Service was excellent.
Went for happy hour after work and the music was super good, and the drinks are from another level ( and if pisco sour is your favorite) well go and try it we had so much fun, and order some appetizers and they were delicious.
Sin lugar a dudas la mejor opción en New York para conocer y degustar comida peruana, un ambiente estupendo recomendado 1000% YEAH BABY!!!
The service was not thar great, loud music. It was a little disappointing.
Best cocktails in nyc. Great music amazing food. Highly recommend
A nice smallish place for scratch made Peruvian food. The paella was excellent, the white chicken breast on the dry side. The live music on a Friday night was pleasant, but maybe too loud for those seated nearby.
Service is great people are polite food is Awesome
The Amazon Chaufa is the best plate at baby brasa, if you like rice with pork and sweet plantains, then this is going to be your favorite plate as well. and if you go at night ask for the pisco sour you will not regret it. More...
Super recomendado!La comida peruana de baby brasa es super rica, las chicken empanadas, shrimp anticucho tambien es muy recomendado si estan por el west village no duden en pasar el ambiente es super latino nunca es malo algo nuevo en la ciudad.
Loved this place. The classic ceviche, organic grilled, chicken and the pisco sour are amazing, this is the second time i've been there, if your are down to go out at night and like the latin vibe well this should be your first option. you can go for brunch, lunch or dinner. More...
Great food, but extremely noisy
Our experience was amazing.
We went for happy hour and had the Pisco Sour Maracuya. So good! The ceviche and tuna on fire was amazing. Fun ambience and great service.
Wow! First time in and won't be the last. We had a reservation for 45 before the kitchen closed (we did not know that at time of reservation, btw). However, we did not feel rushed at all. Our server was great, although he forgot to tell us the kitchen was closing and so we did not get to try desserts! (We'll have to return...). This did not change our great impression overall - as our server was attentive and even brought us tastings of wines before we chose what we wanted. The food - outstanding! The mixture of flavors is a sign of creativity, passion and freshness. Thanks for a wonderful meal, experience and evening... More...
Service was slow and the food and drinks were slow to come out. The food was great though!
Food was delicious, but portions were small and expensive in my opinion. It was a little bit of a creative twist on peruvian food but you can do just as good for much cheaper in a more authentic spot. You are paying for the atmosphere I guess and the for the price servers should be trained much better. More...
Great pisco sour excellent food small portions
Loved the live music! The spanish flamenco! Such a treat
I went for the Sunset Brunch hosted by Carmen D’Alessio, former PR for the legendary Studio 54. The place was a happy scene with a DJ in moderate volume. The Peruvian food was delicious and a very nice service. My friends were very happy. Will go again anytime!!! More...
They staff were very nice. Food was really good, the music was very loud.
Amazing food, service and ambience. Lomo saltado not to be missed, octopus and tres leches for dessert.
Amazing food! Ambience was great and service was exceptional.
Loved the ceviche and the grilled flounder. Specially enjoyed the live music with a passion fruit pisco. Our waitress Andrea was also very kind and guided us through the menu so we could get the best experience.Would definitely recommend if you’re in NY and want to get a taste of the best cuisine (Peruvian) More...
Excellent food and service.
This was my second time dining at this establishment. I decided to come back because the food and drinks were awesome the first time i visited. The second time did not deviate from the first. The food is fresh and flavorful. The drinks pack a punch without being overkill in taste. You get more than your monies worth when you dine here. I will definitely be coming back for a 3rd visit and so forth. Thank you Baby Brasa for your attention to detail and energy More...
Food is delicious and service is even better! My waitress was amazing, super friendly and helpful. 10/10 recommend. Drinks are amazing too!
Loved this place. Small but great service and very tasty food. Saturday was very busy, live music, lots of fun .
Pretty good. The menu isn't huge but has a decent selection. Everything was good but nothing wowed us or warranted the price.
It was a really cute place, and my partner and I were seated almost immediately. Many waiters were always available to serve us or ask if we were doing okay. The food was so good, and I really loved the aesthetic of the restaurant. :) More...

Baby Brasa is the best little tropical get away from NYC but located right in the heart of it!! Lovely and friendly owners/managers and staff. Service is amazing. Drinks are delicious! Always something Interesting happening too like when I was there, there was a live Brazilian band. Food is also amazing. Best Ceviche I’ve had. I will always refer this place to anyone who asks. Very tasty food, will definitely return. The ambiance was a little louder than I anticipated, but it was still good meal and pleasant experience.
Never fails, this place is delicious
Wonderful moment we spent there. Great food and nice music with a singer. Between Thursday tru Saturday there is music and a singer. We had a lot of fun!
Been wanting to try this restaurant for a while, and finally got around to it! Heads up that happy hour lasts until 7pm, which means $7 for their cocktails (like the passion pisco sour and coconut margarita which are usually $15 and $14). I ordered the organic grilled chicken, and I will say we had to wait a while for the food to come out but it was worth it. Every element of the plate was amazingly seasoned (rice, plantains, egg, and chicken). The chicken was on the dry side, but otherwise everything was delicious. At the end, we noticed an extra charge for a drink we didn't order and then they charged everything on one card instead of splitting between two as requested, so a bit troublesome, but otherwise we had an amazing meal and I'd recommend this! More...
It was really good
Good food for sure but not sure why the environment was so dark
It was a great experience. Small feedbacks we could share is: don’t start with such a loud sound - increase it later in the night. The regular ceviche was great, except for the fact that there was a small spine and pieces of fish were way to big - I don’t expect having to cut a fish from a ceviche appetizer More...
THE CEVICHE WAS DELICIOUS. VERY GOOD SERVICE. TRY CUZQUENA BEER.
The food and drinks was lovely. The staff was awesome and OMG the setting was very romantic. I most defiantly recommend.
Good choice! Will go back!!
Great food! Great staff! Very accommodating! Would definitely recommend to everyone!
Make sure to ask individual drinks, the pitchers are totally not worth it
A few friends and I were visiting New York City and Baby Brasa was on our list to hit up. I was worried as I am a very picky eater. However, this place was amazing!! The food was so flavorful and fresh. The drinks were great and the staff always went out of their way. I would highly recommend checking this place out. More...
They haven’t had the salmon we were dying to try, unfortunately. The service was attentive, but food could be better, we found the taste of dishes being a little bland and definitely not Peruvian authentic. Overall a great experience, would come again More...
Fun ambiance. Delicious food. We had the ceviche, vegan tomato salad and arroz chaufa. The passion fruit pisco sour and cocktails were the highlight of the night. Food and Vibe is incredible, they had live music! One of my favorite spots!
The ambiance and the food are amazing if you are looking for a restaurant that is fun and upbeat. The service there is superb.
Very fun restaurant on Fridays. The music was amazing and the drinks and food were great. After ~11pm, the restaurant was very lively and everyone was dancing. Super fun for a night out

The food was AMAZING! The ceviche is a must have
The ambience was snugly and the food super delicious. We had a very good time at this place, even though everything came at dear prices.
Been there at least 3 times and is a great restaurant with awesome tasting food, the drinks are to die for and the vibe is very cool, and just a plus, the chef/owner is soooooo yummy!!!
My experience was great- service was quick, food was delicious and we were able to use a pulsd deal on a full dinner for $60 including an appetizer, two entrees, a side, a dessert, and two cocktails. The place is super cozy (so not big, but that’s what makes it so romantic and perfect for date.)My only issue which is silly, is that they marked my reservation as cancelled when we were on time and kept our reservation. But no biggie. I would go back :) More...
The food was amazing!! My mom is from Lima, Peru and she was impressed with the food. Our server was very nice and attentive. We will definitely be back when we come back to New York. More...
We traveled from Mexico to New York and it was our #1 place for delicious food and outstanding service and environment! Love it
Went on a little date night here and had an amazing time. I think every single thing I ordered was on point at this Peruvian restaurant. I highly recommend the seared tuna appetizer here where they sear it in front of you (and I was able to ask them to sear it less). The meal was great with excellent and juicy chicken options. I also highly recommend the cocktails as they were also quite delicious and similarly priced to cocktails you would find in the area. This place is definitely worth checking out. More...
Delicious, great mix of traditional and modern Peruvian. Super flavorful, and also very busy and noisy.
Good lomo saltado

Nice place to go on a date, or bring a loved one. Good service, wood have given 5 stars, but my steak temp was off
El servicio fue pésimo pero la comida es execelente.
Canceled my reservation since I was 8 minutes late but wasn’t too crowded on a Sunday night.
OK food but over priced for the quality.

Great service. Food was great and delicious. I recommend it.
La mejor comida peruana de la ciudad
Love, love, love Baby Brasa! The best Peruvian food in NYC right now! The service is friendly, the decor is festive, and the cuisine is fresh and authentic with a modern twist. And the drinks! Ask for a lechee martini with pisco. Or achicha morada if you’re going sans alcohol. Starting on Oct. 20, there will be a Saturday sunset brunch party hosted by the legendary Carmen D’Alessio, so you best believe the scene will be hot!!!! I recommend you reserve early. More...

Wonderful celebratory dinner for my daughter’s 21st birthday. Great ambiance, perfect service, and super tasty, distinctive food!
The noise level was annoying but other than that, loved it. I'll try to go early next time.

Food is great! Perfect environment.
The food is delicious and their lunch special is a steal! Go there now!
Highly recommend! Food is excellent! Fabulous cocktails The owners Franco & Milan are lovely
My boyfriend (who is Peruvian) mentioned that he has always wanted to check out this restaurant so we made a reservation here on a Friday night. We arrived at 8PM, and the scene, while lively, was relatively tame. There was live music, a super-friendly staff and a very chic crowd. By the time we left around 9:30/10, the place was really picking up and full of energy. Everything we ate was delicious and a modern take on some Peruvian classics. After visiting another bar, we returned to the spot for a late-night party where they had cleared the tables, and had a DJ with dancing. We loved it so much we even returned for brunch the following day. Highly recommend More...

Baby Brasa has nailed the Peruvian cuisine, and provide a great sampling with their menu choices. The lunch special is a great deal, serving you an appetizer, entree, and dessert for $12.99. The ceviche mixto appetizer is truly amazing. The service is fantastic, with room for improvement. The atmosphere is a quant one with slight Hispanic touches, nothing too overboard. More...

Fantastic pisco sours and the pollo is to die for. Stephanie was a wonderful server!
Delicious Peruvian food, hands down. A little pricey but hey it’s the west Village not West New York. My only criticism is they are missing some tasty Peruvian comfort food like Jalea.
Delish! My husband and I devoured our dishes. He had risotto with seafood and I ordered the wild salmon. Every thing was cooked to perfection. Such yummy flavors and the food was so fresh. Very cozy place. Nice for date night but also good for a group. My mojiito was spot on too! More...

Algo caro pero bueno, es Nueva York. La comida esta increíble!
I was in the restaurant for the lunch special which was amazingly good. I got appetizer, entree and desert for $13 plus taxes. The ceviche was delicious and such a big portion. The chocolate churros were nice too!! Laura was my waitress, she received me with a genuine smile and was very kind and cordial. The food is excellent. We had the brunch burger and the lomo saltado. Both were great. They had live music (Sunday brunch) and that by itself was worth the visit. Highly recommended.
The appetizers were really good, specially the ceviche. I was not impressed with the rotisserie chicken but I am from Peru so I have higher standards for pollo a la brasa.
Love this place! I’ve been 3 times now and it’s been a hit every time. Drinks are made to perfection and the food is BURSTING with flavors. Highly recommended

Ok I’m super picky and this place is awesome!
Been there only once so far for lunch ! It's a Peruvian restaurant. I'm impressed by the interior of the restaurant! It's very decorative and they have good space ! We ordered the causa threesome and empire chauf fried rice with chicken! The Causa threesome was good, something different than I usually eat! The fried rice was good too except didn't like the wontons on it which made it a little dry! Overall it was a good lunch with pretty interior and service was friendly too ! #LetsGuide More...

We order Martini Lychee wich was one of the best I ever try. And you must try the Democrat, so delicious. Our weittres Stephanie was so kind and amazing, she gave us the best advices. From appetizers to entrance. We are definitely coming back! It’s a total 5 stars. Try Tres Leches as a desert you will just loved it ! More...

Great Peruvian food, delicious chicken and great chicken empanadas.
Best lunch in a while! Lovely sun room. Food was fresh and cooked perfectly. Get the tequenos!
I LOVE this place. Drinks are reasonably priced and the food is so full of flavor. I loved the decor and our server was awesome. The bathroom is weird though.
Beautiful second branch, amazingly flavored food and warm service
An upscale place with a variety of food choices. Go for the lunch specials there, its the cheapest and you get the same quantity/quality of food for a third of the actual price.
I love this restaurant. The food is fresh and very tasty with plenty of vegan options. If you are lucky enough to see Franco Noriega there is also a great view!

This place is awesome. I am a peruvian born in the motherland and I gotta say this place is special. The service was on point, shout out to Stefani for taking care for us. I came from VA for a convention and the taste I experienced is far better than anything in my area. We had the ceviche de pescado, pollo a la brasa w/ Yucas, beef anticucho and pisco sour. They were all exquisite and definitely recommend them to anyone exploring peruvian cuisine in New York. Credit for the lead: Emmanuel Piqueras More...

Ignore everything and focus on the absolutely incredible food. The plantains and ceviche should not be missed. The salmon Luce starter is a must-have. Don’t skip this place because of ambience or location. The food makes it all worth it! Well done More...
Great ambiance, order the aji de gallina, yuca frita and pisco sour pitchers - Wendy’s service was 11/10
The food was excellent.
Buena atención pero falto la ensalada y muy poca las entradas y se debería dar opción a los pollos a la brasa como en Lima Peru.
El mejor Pisco sour!!!

Food and drinks are a good value but they close early on weekends
I know the place from the Lower East side the food is amazing. Highly recommend
We ordered anticuchos, ceviche y a chicken family style with my friends. Our waitress Jackie knew the food really well. I am one of those picky/curious people who asks what the ingredients are. They have the best Puervian ceviche I've tried. The chica morada has clove y isn't over sweetened. The aji amarillo sauce withe antichucos is great. The chicken was a really moist with a crispy skin.
