DENTAL PHOBIA? Call Avenue Dental Care. I have a HUGE phobia regarding any kind dental care, even a simple cleaning. In researching what seemed like all of Pierce County looking for a dentist that did IV Sedation, never found one. I did find the next best thing. Although Avenue Dental does not have there own anaesthesiologists they can call in a "roving" one. IT WAS THE BEST DENTIST VISIT EVER!!! Had an earlier appointment scheduled for later in the month with one of the Dentist here at Avenue. However, while waiting for that Dental appointment I had an emergency tooth issue come up. I found myself in excruciating pain, but never fear, Chelsea at Avenue Dental was able to get me in right away she was courteous, professional, and most of all compassionate to my circumstance. I was then met by Stephanie the Dental Assistant who was very comforting and totally put me at ease. When it came to having the extraction completed, Dr. Kenny and staff were very empathetic to my emergency and treated me with care, and the upmost compassion. I believe they really felt my sense of urgency. Dr. Kenny explained the xray findings and explained the whole procedure including how they planned to address the pain I was in. Dr. Kenny is highly skilled and went to work immediately getting me out of pain. He took excellent care of me did the extraction that day, and today only two days later, happy to report pain free and healing nicely so far. I have a follow appointment of course. I had a great experience at Avenue Dental Group. Dr. Syeda Bakhtawar was so friendly and pleasant, and the entire staff was very friendly as well.
Dr. Syeda was very concientious and
took great care before my tooth extraction, making sure all was well with my bloodwork before moving forward with the procedure, as I have medical issues that need caution.
I was very impressed at how well Dr. Syeda and her staff worked together, and everyone seemed happy to be there and wantied to help you.
I've had teeth extracted before, but this one went quickly and I didn't feel as nervous and tense. Also I didn't have to wait forever to get an appointment, and they try to keep the cost as afforadable as possible.
I highly reccomend Avenue Dental Group and especially Dr. Syeda.

Where do I even begin! I have been going here for over a year. The staff is very friendly, they make me feel very comfortable every time I am there and always answer my questions thoroughly. Jordan always greets you with a warm smile, she is absolutely the best! I have only ever seen Dr. Singh, and WOW she is an excellent doctor, very gentle, always makes sure that everything is okay! This is the best dental practice I have ever been to. I've been a patient for nine years, so I have a lot of experience and trust with their quality dental work! I used to have a lot of anxiety going to the dentist, but not anymore. Dr. Arpita Sharma and the whole staff is very caring and professional. They are also good about working with my schedule, and I never seem to have to wait long for my appointments. I recently called with severe tooth pain that had crept up over the weekend... they were able to see me that same day and even able to perform the root canal I needed, even though it was already late afternoon! I just got home from an appt here and I was thoroughly impressed! My appt was for 4pm but they had me in the back at 3:30 pm (first time ever that I didn't have to wait a long time! ; I don't know if this treatment is typical tho...) My general dentist is in MT but I needed a cavity filled. The secretary and assistant were very friendly and the dentist was very knowledgeable- he found a second cavity on the tooth next door and took pictures to show me it. I was able to get both filled at the same time! Woo! The technology was very updated too. They are accepting new patients so I definately recommend them if you are looking for a dentist in North Spokane! They accepted my insurance, but their finance plans looked very affordable if you don't have dental insurance. More...

I'm not from Washington but I needed immediate dental attention.I was very hesitant and nervous to see a dentist so far from home but the people at Avenue Dental Care made me feel very comfortable. I have had extensive work done on my teeth back home and the dentist I went to for 27 years was NEVER this good to me. I saw Dr. Arpita and she was a very sweet lady. She showed compassion and empathy with my situation and did everything she could to help me out. I thought I would have to spend $10k to have 2 teeth extracted and have bridges or implants, but she did a thorough check and told me that my teeth could be saved and were definitely worth saving.I had been in pain for 6 months and was on antibiotics and pain killers for that long until I went to see Dr. Arpita. I had headaches like I had never had before and they all went away after Dr. Arpita worked her magic. She performed a root canal. She always made sure to tell me exactly what she was doing before she did it. If knew she was going to do something that may cause a little discomfort, she made sure to tell me. But none of it was bad. The procedure took quite awhile, but it was to be expected and I knew she was trying to be thorough. She was even courteous enough to apologize and explained why the procedure was taking a little longer. I didn't mind it. I think the only reason why I didn't like it was because my jaws were killing me from having my mouth open for that long (I have TMD, so that is to be expected as well). But, that soreness went away.Now, I have absolutely NO headaches. I am a happy camper!The entire staff at Avenue Dental were terrific. The dental assistants, Anna and Rachel, were very kind and energetic. They really knew their stuff too, which made me feel even more at ease. They are a friendly bunch at Avenue Dental and I would definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone in the Everett, WA area. Hey, even if you AREN'T from Everett, WA and are just in the area like I was, I would definitely recommend them.They also gave me a $25 gift card to Target for referring my boss. It was awesome! This no-frills office was a godsend for me during a recent tooth emergency. First of all, to agree with a previous review - they are upfront about the cost of services, which is reasonable (important to those of us who are currently uninsured). But, what really sets this office apart is the caring, patience, and sincere friendliness of the staff ("ditto" once again, to that previous reviewer).My dentist during the visit, Dr. Sharma, was gentle, kind, and extremely professional. She thoroughly explained the procedure she was about to perform, and carefully went over the longterm options. You should give Dr Virk a try, you will see very quickly he is a good dentist. He is gentle and very caring. He also use some pretty advanced techniques, atleast that is what they said. It does not feel like you went to the dentist when he done, none of that pain that most dentists leave. I have left the dentist sometimes and it feels like my enitre mouth was ripped to shreds.
