We had Ava's for the first time for our Wedding! Our guests were impressed and enjoyed the delicious food. The food was well prepared and tasted so good. We picked a great menu that included the Mediterranean Salmon(My Favorite) Lemon Honey Roasted Chicken which was a hit!!! ???? The Cranberry Veggie Rice Pilaf was airy and absolutely delicious! We had the Cranberry Spinach Salad so good and the roasted Butternut squashee w/Peppers and Cauliflower. Chef Ava came to my home to cook a special birthday dinner for me and my friends. We decided on a menu she did need to help me a little bit because this is the first time I have ever hired a private chef. Ava arrived on time with all of the food to start cooking and have the appetizers ready for when my friends arrived. Everything was so delicious and we still talk about this night even today. Her prices were reasonable and Ava left my kitchen very clean before she left my home. We have also picked up an Easter meal from her as well and as always the food was delicious  I am so happy that Chef Ava has made her dream come true of opening a place where you can go in and enjoy all of the wonderful food she has to offer. I won a social media giveaway from Ava&#39;s and was excited to check it out. My daughter loved the free shrimp and grits we received, and I loved my fish and grits. The grits were SO creamy and filling. My other daughter said her apricot chicken was one of the best chicken dishes she has ever tasted (and she eats a lot of chicken). The banana foster cobbler was delicious; I only wish there was more of it. This small place (no inside seating) is veteran owned. Small locally owned businesses like this need our support. I was invited out by a friend at Family Friendly Tampa Bay to try out Ava&#39;s food. I am so lucky and honored to have the opportunity to experience this cuisine! I had seen Ava on Instagram so it&#39;s always fun to meet someone you have seen doing their thang on social media. I also love shopping local, especially during these rona times! <br><br>We ordered the salmon patties with lemon pasta and broccoli, The whiskey glazed wings and because I&#39;m a dessert fiend I could NOT pass up the carolina bread pudding. Some days I get greedy so I almost ordered both desserts. The other dessert is a banana foster cobbler. <br><br>Before I talk about how the food tasted, I wanna mention the menu. First off, everything on her menu sounds incredible!! And who doesn&#39;t like affordable meals when dining out. Her pricing is very reasonable. The amount of menu options is perfect too because for me, I get super overwhelmed when there are too many food choices.<br><br>All the food was AMAZING!!! I promise I&#39;m not just saying that. Portion sizes were on point. The salmon dish has 2 patties, plenty of pasta and broccoli. I love anything salmon so I just keep getting more and more fork fulls. Wings very yummy. The whiskey glaze was delish and the wings were way more elegant than your typical over sauced, sloppy pub wing. Ohhh and the dessert...soo delightful and everything a sweet tooth loves in dessert, sweet and savory!!<br><br>Ava herself is a delight. Her whole team was a pleasure to meet!! Great food!  We are new to the area so trying restaurants close to our new home. Came across this small business advertising on Facebook. They are a catering company that is now doing dinners on Fridays and Saturdays. <br><br>Staff was very friendly.  Everyone was in masks. Food was still hot when I got home since it was cooked freshly. Presentation was nice when we unwrapped everything. <br><br>We ordered Seafood boil, apricot chicken, chicken wings, bananas foster cobbler for a family of 5. I&#39;ve had the pleasure of attending two private dining experiences with Chef Ava and her grand opening of her new location in Lutz,FL. I love supporting local businesses especially when the owner is part of your community. Chef Ava has a remarkable spirit and is a joy to support. <br><br>She offers a variety of services, private catering, large event catering, weekly meals, kids cooking classes to name a few. Her menu features an eclectic menu with southern and low country influence. I&#39;ve never had a meal I didn&#39;t like! <br><br>My latest meal that I tried from Chef Ava was fried fish and creamy grits with a banana foster cobbler with vanilla pudding. It was really great! The fish was fried in a cornmeal batter which is my favorite way to eat fried fish. The grits were savory and creamy and paired well with the fried fish. The dessert was a dish I had never tried before but will definitely be requesting it again the next time I get food from Chef Ava. My appetizer was the chicken wontons with the apricot glaze. Those wontons were delish. I had one on my drive home and next you know all 5 of them were gone! I should have took a photo before I devoured them.<br><br>My entree was Creamy Mashed Potatoes with Herb Roasted Chicken with Brushed Whiskey Glaze Sauce. The chicken was so juicy! The mashed potatoes were so creamy and flavorful . The appetizing  broccoli paired well with the chicken and mashed potatoes. <br><br>My dessert was Banana Foster Cobbler.
