My recently adopted rescue dog Joy can be quite nervous around other dogs especially those bigger than her. Auntie Kirsty was recommended to me by another local doggy care service when I needed to leave Joy somewhere for a few days and didn’t fancy using a kennel. Joy had a lovely time, to the point where I wondered if she’d want to come home with me :-). My dog Harry is a rescue and didn’t come with any training or instructions and Kirsty has been fantastic and very understanding with him from day one. My greyhound Jazzi is fast, but a bit of a wimp with groups of dogs. Cosmo spent his first weekend away from us and stayed with Auntie Kirsty. We were left reassured and relaxed that he was in a safe, loving environment. The home from home experience was exactly what we were looking for when searching for possible dog sitters. We didn't want to put Ossie into kennels and liked the idea of a 'home from home' so Kirsty came recommended by a friend of ours. Best decision ever! ???? Our very nervous Pod Lottie stayed with Kirsty for our wedding weekend, a stressful time for all hahahahaha! Kirsty made sure Lottie and I were comfortable before taking her on, we saw the house and met the dogs in her care. Lottie took to Kirsty almost instantly which was a huge relief. We were looking for a second home as Lottie does not do well in kennels and we found it! We got sent pictures throughout the day to show how well she was doing. You can tell this is more than a job for Kirsty. Our dog Frank is nervous when meetng new people. However on our first meeting with Kirsty he took to her straight away. Was really pleased. Up until recently we have taken our dog to a kennels and they have not quite been the same when they have come home. On recommenddation we thought we would give Kirsty a try and she has been brilliant.
