Please read! I have to tell you how amazing Atlantic Pet Sitting is. Long story short, they SAVED MY PUGS’ LIFES! When Maggie from Atlantic Pet Sitting came to walk them, it was a really hot day and the power had just gone out. Pugs overheat very easy and they had no ac. She put them in her own personal car with the ac on and waited for the power to come back on. After about an hour, since the power didn’t come back on, she volunteered to bring them to my work where they would be safe and cool. Chris the owner was monitoring our communication and checked in to see if everything was ok also. This is how much they care about the animals they watch. Maggie literally saved their lives!Every visit, Maggie sends me great pictures of the pugs and a detailed text of the visit. She pays such attention to detail that if their water bowel is a little low or needs rinsing out, she takes care of it and is always careful with my very elderly pug. She takes such good care of them and sets my mind at ease with her updates. My schedule can be crazy and they are very accommodating, even last minute requests. I have had several pet sitters for my Leo and Atlantic is by far the BEST! Maggie treats my boy like her own. He loves her. He requires some special attention as he is older now and she is just top notch. This entire company is top notch. We have been using Atlantic Pet Sitting for a couple of months now for cat visits, as we travel often for work. It's never easy leaving your pet behind but we are always at ease knowing Clinton at Atlantic Pet Sitting is looking after our little one. Clinton has been great at keeping in touch and sending us pictures/videos - and our cat actually likes Clinton (and he doesn't really open up to strangers. I cannot say enough praise for Atlantic Pet Sitting! The (other) pet sitting service we had tried out last year prior to our week long Disney trip decided to cancel our appointment two days prior to departure without even calling me (I would have never known if I didn't always call places to confirm ahead). Thank heavens I found Atlantic Pet Sitting!! They were able to book me for my week long Disney trip with only a couple days notice. The owner called me personally to talk with me and answer any questions, and the sitter that came to my home to review my special needs was so sweet and capable. She understood my instructions and what special care three of our older/sicker cats needed daily. She would always send me a text each visit with pictures of my furbabies and how they were doing, she had to come twice a day for me. What really impressed me too was when we returned home all the cats were clean and healthy, and the house was spotless! Normally we would come home to a mess ;) A couple days after we came home from our trip one of our sick babies, Greg, passed away from his battle with cancer. I received communication from both the owner and the sitter as well as a card; I didn't expect this level of care. They really care about animals and their client's "furbabies". Highly recommend Atlantic Pet Sitting and our sitter, Tom! We have 4 dogs and two of them are pretty high needs. One dog has high anxiety and isn’t good with new people and our 15. 5 year old requires special attention and help moving around the house and up and down the stairs to go outside. Tom asked lots of questions at the meet and greet and had no problem winning the trust of our high anxiety pup. We were so relieved after we met him and felt very good about leaving them in his care. This is the first time that we used a pet setter for our 2 furry babies, Beans and Willow. We were worried of leaving them by themselves but Clinton made sure that they were taken care of. We always looked forward to the pictures and updates each visit. Beans was timid at first, but Clinton was so patient, he was able to get Beans to play and interact with him. My husband and I have lived in Myrtle Beach a couple years and had not needed a pet sitter until this past week when we made out-of-town plans. I sent a request to Atlantic Pet Sitting and promptly heard back from them. Louisa came to our house to meet our Jack Russell, Scarlett, and we instantly fell in love with her. We knew we didn’t have to worry about Scarlett because Louisa made us feel comfortable. While we were out of town, she visited Scarlett three times each day and sent detailed reports and pictures with each visit. The communication with her was very kind and personal. FABULOUS! I’ve used pet sitters for over 15 years. Being from NJ, professional pet sitters were a dime a dozen. It took some interviewing to find a good one but I was very fortunate. However, moving to Conway, SC four years ago was a real eye opener. I was shocked to find how difficult that would be.
