I started training with Lewis as me and my partner got married August this year, as my partner was already training with him I decided one day to go along. Before I started training I was stuck in a rut, I hated how I looked, stopped enjoying myself and hated going out (unless I had a baggy jumper on!) Training with Lewis has literally changed my life! I walked down the aisle on the 5th August looking and feeling amazing. When I first had my dress fitting I needed to lose 5 inches from my back to get my dress to fit and training with Lewis resulted in my wedding dress needing to get taken in TWICE!
I train with Lewis twice a week and his easy going, friendly personality creates a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. He is very supportive and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Ascend fitness and Performance.

I've been training with Lewis for around 9 month, and I can hand on heart say I look forward to every lesson with him, when I first started I was carrying too much weight and would be out of breath walking up stairs at work, but now I am training with Lewis for an hour then going after the gym to play 5 aside, not only that but this year I got married and he got me down to a weight wear I was comfortable at and felt good about my self, he's their for when I have my bad times and can not motivate myself to diet he's always their to get me right back on track, he's not just my trainer but he's also a great Friend. And would recommend him to any one to train with!!

Every single person's body responds differently to different training stimulus' and different foods. I understand this and therefore create completely custom programs for our clients.
Here at Ascend Fitness & Performance I am are very attentive. I encourage constant communicate between trainer and client. Clients train with us 2-5 times per week but talk to me every single day. This form of communication allows for clients to have constant support with their diet and training.

Consistency and progress. Dream bodies to not appear over night. The key is to be consistent with an excellent training program and a healthy diet. It is extremely important that in order to change your body shape, build muscle, lose weight or improve performance that progression is always monitored. As soon as you step foot in the gym with us everything you do is monitored to make sure you are getting better.

The best thing about the job is seeing someone completely change mentally. Yes the physical change is very impressive and I love taking credit for someone's amazing transformation but the mental change you see within someone after losing 70-80lbs of fat or gaining 20lbs of muscle is something amazing. People become so much happy and more confident and it changes their lives forever. Their relationships in their lives improve and they enjoy their jobs more as they have the confidence to try harder and succeed. It truly makes me love my job helping to transform someone's life.

Clients should choose Ascend Fitness & Performance as the company prides itself on having the highest exercise science qualifications available. I currently have a undergraduate degree in Exercise Health and Fitness, Level 3 Personal Trainer and Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport and Exercise Science. I am also working towards my Masters of Science in Strength and Conditioning and also working towards accreditation with the UKSCA. I am always reading about the new research within health, exercise and sport. I will not waste your time by trying to brainwash you with a load of fitness non-sense. I am not a snake oil salesmen. I offer amazing results to clients who are motivated and willing to work hard with me.
