I am a freelance photographer, and will take pictures of anything that requires a camera ! I love doing people - Weddings, Christenings, Portraits, Kids, Animals. And a pose and print photo booth. I work in tandem with my husband, I say work, what we do is a joy. We have a very natural feel to our pictures.

From start to finish Rhona was brilliant from speaking to her over facetime in lockdown I knew she would be the right photographer for my wedding photography. She is so lovely she makes you feel so comfortable and relaxed which I needed. she is very thorough with everything finding out exactly what kind of photos you like,I like more natural ones and that was what I got they were perfect. Also Billy (Rhona's husband) came along to the ceremony and took some extra pics to with the drone they were fab totally different! Rhona recently did my wedding photography and I cannot recommend her enough! I found her via the internet and as I live in Cornwall and was traveling to Scotland for the wedding, I was unable to meet her in person before the big day. We spoke on the phone and discussed my ideas , themes and preferences and I felt completely at ease with her. She was friendly, funny, professional and enthusiastic. On the day of the wedding she and her husband took hundreds of fantastic shots. Aside from the usual group shots we had a range of natural and posed photos of all of our wedding party. In the evening she brought sparklers and lights to enhance the pictures which turned out to look amazing! She has provided us with such a fantastic array of memories and I would recommend her to anyone, not only are you getting a talented and enthusiastic photographer, you're getting a friend who will make you laugh and calm your nerves. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Spotting that moment ! Making my camera see what I see.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
When, where, what time. What type of pictures do you prefer? i.e. Black and white, sepia, or natural pictures vs formal.
What do you love most about your job?
People, I love people. From 3 week old babies to 90 year old grannies, I love them all. And then, when the pictures are taken and the excitement dies down I can indulge my second favourite activity, sitting in front of the computer looking at the pictures and, playing with Photoshop and getting just the look I want, from moody to vibrant, and then the feelings of pride when I lean back and think - I created this !
What inspired you to start your own business?
The time was right, I have wanted to do this for years, but sometimes everything just fits, and thats how it was for me.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am very easy to get along with ! Very much a people person. But when it comes to weddings and christenings I believe in fading into the background. I won't be intrusive during your ceremony, won't use flash photography or noisy shutters. I'll be close enough to capture the emotion, but not so close as to intrude on your special moments.
