From the very first day I stepped in I was nicely impressed about the whole environment and overall atmosphere. Firstly everything it's spotless clean at all times and then the style and soul put into every single details make the whole difference. The plants especially are a lovely touch and all the quirky lamps they bring all the vibes up. It's a pleasure to turn out to the office every morning. In particular I'm spoiled for having a lovely view over a park with a church and magically all the windows can be open!! ( which is quite a luxury these days :)..) But on top everything, what is really amazing about this place: the crew! They are literally awesome people , very thoughtful , helping , smiling , considerate and professional at all times. Second Home, as always; second to none. The new Clerkenwell site embodies the coolness, aesthetic flare and creative charm of its older Spitalfields sibling whilst adding a unique touch of sophistication, calm and intimacy perfectly in keeping with the surrounding neighbourhood. The heart and soul of the operation are the amazing individuals that make up the Second Home team. Always smiling and endlessly helpful; they keep everything running smoothly and are a pleasure to be around.The in house cafe La Despensa, open to both members and the public, is a wonderful addition to the varied culinary offerings of Clerkenwell. The ever changing menu keeps things interesting and is guaranteed to introduce you to something new each week. A perfect introduction would be their curry lunch series every Friday.There's also fascinating cultural programme available with a specific focus on innovation offering amazing access to thought leaders and new ways of viewing the world.Second Home is a rare player in the co-working sector in that it builds genuine fans. If you've ever spoken to someone who's since moved to a competitor or permanent office this will quickly become apparent. It's a tough ask to replace such a unique working environment.
