Arif bakery created two masterpieces for my twin daughters’ 5th birthday. All it took was a 5 minutes consultation, I explained that I needed two cakes; one to be dominantly Anna and the other Elsa from the new Frozen 2 movie and the cake maker almost instantly starting to run the most unique and creative design ideas with me. She was very good at her job so I left it in her hands. The final cakes were breathtakingly beautiful and the colours used on each cake tied in so well with the individual character theme. Thank you for the most spectacular Frozen 2 themed birthday cakes. Your creativity and attention to detail was the talk of the party. They also tasted as good as they looked!! I had one of their famous orange “Bahrain’s” cakes and was not disappointed. The lady beind the counter was externally nice and made sure to tell us about every ingredient used in the chicken feta and ham flat bread. We got one then finished it half way down the street and had to go back straight away to get another one to share. But sadly they had sold out already. This place is great. I stepped into this cake shop with a desire to purchase a chocolate brownie (the last in the shop!), and when the gentleman who served me said it was the ‘best in town’ I assumed he was just trying to be a good salesman. Little did I know I was in for a treat: literally the best brownie I have ever eaten. What I received was a baked good large and dense enough to be a door stop (at a very reasonable price!), and yet cutting into it the core was moist and rich. Not overly sweet with a gentle, almond-like aftertaste. It took me two days to consume the whole thing, and I was glad to extend the pleasure.I can only attest to this shops quality based on my one purchase, but if the brownie I had is anything to go by then the other cakes produced by this shop must truly be works of art. My family have been using Arif bakery for years. I no longer live in the area but still our go to place for all our special occasion cakes. Cakes not only look good but taste amazing, at reasonable prices. Special thank you for my baby shower cake this weekend 3 tiers all different flavours definitely impressed our guests. Delicious cakes, fantastic borek, employees were extremely friendly. Highly recommend the carrot cake. I literally ate it for breakfast. I got talking to the owner and learned that the establishment has been around for over 30 years. It's very easy to see why.
