An outstandingly good service from Freya and the team at Ascent. Due to the recent heavy snow (8/9 March) a large 60 year old willow tree collapsed at my mother in law's home in Sheffield. We contacted her insurer around 4:00pm on a Friday afternoon - and we were very quickly called by Freya. Astonishingly she said that the Ascent team would attempt to come to us the next day (Saturday). Unfortunately the journey from Matlock (around 20 miles) was impossible due to ice on the roads. In the end Ascent arrived on Monday - started the job - and finished on Tuesday. It was a tricky job with greatly restricted access. We could not be at the property when the tree clearance was carried out. Freya made everything so very easy for us - keeping us constantly updated - providing photos - and leaving the site remarkably clean and tidy. It was tragic that the tree came down - but Ascent made sure that that was the only painful aspect of the whole experience. We contacted ascent tree solutions for a job that required a specialist service for removing an overgrown Hawthorne tree. Freya and Doug relished the challenge and took the tree down with ease and made a super job of the surrounding area . They even ground the stumps and left me a message if some more is found just call them and they will pop over and grind that as well for us. There timings could not have been any better removing the tree(s) and their prices are very reasonable for the work they undertake. Give Freya and Doug a try. You will not regret that decision. These guys are super in what they do and they are very professional polite and above all are very dependable as we had been let down in the past. We would recommend these guys to anyone they are a great team and a pleasure to have doing your work. Contracted Ascent Tree Solutions to strip 2 Hawthorn trees covered (and smothered) in invasive ivy, to reduce and shape them and to reduce and shape an Elder tree. The 3 staff who arrived were polite, efficient, friendly and wasted no time in getting the job done. The quotation was more than fair and far less than I expected. Super friendly and professional service. The quote was very reasonable. They took down two trees, ivy which was all up the house, and did general pruning on the rest of our trees. oug and his team felled a large ash tree in my garden. It was in a difficult position surrounded on all sides by buildings with restricted access. They planned and did the task in a very profeesional and efficient manner and I was impressed by their expertise and skill in avoiding telephone wires that were actually going through the branches..
