This is the second time I've utilized Oscar from Aquastat Plumbing. He's super responsive, can handle emergencies and does great high quality work. I had a leak in our laundry room plumbing and he took care of it within a couple of hours. The second call was a Sunday morning hot water pipe leak that flooded my first floor and garage. I rarely review anything on Yelp, but I had to make one for Oscar and Alfonso. I had a water heater emergency and attempted to use Home depot, they came to my place and said the one they brought was too big and told me I would have to wait for the next opening which was 5 days later. The support team was complete shit and they left me out to dry. Luckily by chance I was able to find Aqua stat online and they answered my call for a replacement water heater dead early in the morning, I explained to them my situation, next thing I know they were at my door within 20 minutes doing measurements prior to their other jobs. Came back later that day with the exact water heater I needed, something that Home depot didn't do and Lowes said would of taken them 2 weeks to do. Excellent responsiveness and Excellent work! We called to have our Kohler toilet repaired because it was dripping from the tank. We thought we had all the right parts. Â But when Oscar came to our house to do the work he realized we didn't have the right parts. He TOOK THE TIME to find the website and the exact parts so we could order them. He was very understanding! He worked with us until we had everything we needed and was flexible with our schedule. When he came to do the work (ON TIME, very important) he was respectful (also very important), CAREFUL AND CLEAN, and knew his stuff! He even replaced a couple of things we didn't recognize, without charging us! Plumbing problems can be annoying and scary. I was doing improvements and Oscar was recommended to me. Â In the course of the project, he discovered the main sewer line from the house to the street was broken. Â This meant trenching the concrete in the house, garage and outside. Â It also meant pulling an emergency plumbing permit from the Department of Buildings and Inspections. Oscar got the permit the next day and fixed the problem. Â He was conscientious and helpful. Â I explained to Oscar that I was working on a budget for improvements and he gave me options about upgrading to tankless water heater, or keeping the existing one which needed work to come up to code. A hot water recirculator that I had bought and had Oscar come out to install, had a faulty part and a week later, started leaking from the upstairs bathroom. I came home and found water was dripping from the ceiling. I panicked and texted Oscar who came out right away and took care of things, despite the fact he was over an hour away when I called him and it certainly wasn't convenient on a late Friday afternoon. I needed to replace an old water heater, install 2 bollards to protect the table the water heater is on and run a water line to the refrigerator so I turned to Yelp and found Aqua Stat Plumbing. Â Oscar is a man of his word. Â He said he would be by at 8am to give me an estimate and on the dot, he was at my door. Â I told Oscar I needed the water heater to pass inspection so he got the permit and went to work. Â On the day the city inspector was to come and look over the water heater, my work needed me in the office so I told Oscar I wouldn't be around to let the inspector in so Oscar rescheduled his work to be available to let the inspector in. Â Naturally, the water heater passed inspection and a few days later my neighbor came over to admire Oscar's work and commented, "He know what he's doing."Oscar is a very hard working man on a tight schedule. Oscar did a great job on my sewer line in Walnut Creek about a month ago. I would absolutely work with him again as he's trustworthy, straightforward, and a very hard worker. I had a separation in my sewer line as well as a leak in my water line. Oscars quote for both of these repairs was very reasonable. I was able to schedule the repair very easily with him as it was always easy to get in touch with Oscar over the phone.The repair was a little more difficult than originally anticipated but Oscar worked right through it all day long to get the job done and restore my services. Oscar just snaked an impossible to reach clog, came early in the morning so I could get on with my day, and replaced the couplings to make my drain completely leak free when he discovered they were less than optimal. Aqua stat had a deal for services and our laundry drain was in dire need of an unclogging, so I thought, why not. Pros: -The plumber came on time, but my boyfriend didn't answer the door. The plumber came back after he called in an hour later and we still received service on the appointment day.-The yelp deal.- Got the job done, with no problems with the issue to date.
