Very happy with ACPH. Dr. Tackaberry is an excellent veterinarian, I highly recommend her. Dr. Wilson is also great. The office staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Heather is wonderful. I appreciate the separate waiting areas for cats and dogs. Both of my visits have been very pleasant and I’m extremely satisfied with the care my kitty’s have received. Their prices are very reasonable, trust me on that. I was taking my kitty to a vet that charged me almost triple what I paid at ACPH! Just came from our annual visit for my sweet Maltipoo with Dr. Martin! Excellent! Laci was given her updated shots and HW test. Resukts text within a couple hours. Aptos Creekside is great! Clean, friendly, sweet to my 2 furbabies, sweet to me, turn in my invoices to insurance and keeps me informed on upcoming tests/injections! Been going there for 10 years with my other furbaby, Nicki. We moved here about a year ago from Carmel. I was so pleased to find a Vet that was compassionate, caring, friendly, and cared so much about animals, as they do. The whole staff is friendly. I have 2 Shih Tzus and I am a senior. I have my hands full when they have appointments, handling both. They give me a hand, and help me out to the car when I have food and medications for them. There is even a separate entrance for kitties, as well as a nice outside potty area with a bench, bags, and waste container. I receive friendly reminders of their shots and care. Dr. Martin is terrific. Our dog is reactive and frightened of other dogs. He was anxious about being at the vet, but Dr. Martin sat on the floor at his level and was very sensitive to his anxiety. A great job also by the vet tech who gave him his injection and trimmed his claws. We use this clinic for our cats as well and they have been very comfortable with all the staff! Kudos! More...

I have taken my dog and pets here since my first dog in the '90s. I used to really like Dr. Sarah Hawklin, but she has retired. I recently had 7 of my dog's teeth removed without much fanfare. They put her out, took X-rays and did the extractions. They clipped her toenails, which they said they do for free as part of the anesthesia. They also cleaned her ears, but it cost $72! I just wanted them wiped clean, which I made very clear, not flushed, and I'm not sure why it cost so much. I liked their service, but I don't feel the connection I felt with Dr. Hawklyn. I just feel everything is profit driven, and the front office staff is not very helpful. I've been in there to refill products that I've previously purchased there, but they can never seem to find it in my dog's history, leading to unwanted/needed products. More...

My dog actually LOVES to go to Creekside Vet, despite surgery and months of painful post-surgical care several years ago, following being hit and dragged by a car. They helped her NOT have to lose any part of her sweet, waggy self! They're kind, caring, and quite knowledgeable, and they seek answers when even a bit unsure. I won't get started on the ways they go the extra mile to help (And don't forget that doggy miles = seven each!), but suffice it to say, not only does my dog love them, but so does her person! I have changed to Aptos Creekside because Patricia Wilson has moved to this location permanently from S.C Veterinary Clinic. It is closer for me also. Georgio our beloved cat gets excellent care from dental health to wellness visits, and also those times he has to be seen right away because of a tangle with another cat or a blade of grass getting stuck in his throat or nose (not fun for him or us). Dr. K, Dr. Martin and Dr. Tackabury have all been part of his team. They take excellent care of him and provide education and reassurance to us in keeping him healthy. I chose this location because it is convenient to my home...I am glad I did! The staff is efficient, professional and courteous. ..The Doctors are knowledgeable, compassionate and HONEST...pet care can be expensive! I made the mistake of going to a vet close to work and felt taken advantage of (I paid $50 for a "wellness check up" after my dog ate a whole bone). No advice but wanted to charge me $488 for an xray and some dog food...I didn't even see the vet and the receptionists became defensive and argumentative. That's why I was prompted by this to write this review - I called Aptos Creekside and they gave me honest advice; thank you for soothing my fears and not trying to charge this single, mother of two $500 at Christmas time! My veterinarian, Dr Wilson is extremely knowledgeable and treats my 2 dogs & 2 cats with such loving kindness. They love to come visit because of her and her staff.
