I cannot recommend Ann highly enough, she is incredible! After doing such an amazing job with my sister's wedding 10 months ago, my partner and I had no hesitation in hiring Ann for our wedding. She took over everything from six weeks out but was always available to answer questions and give recommendations before then. We honestly couldn't have asked for more. Not only did Ann deal finalise the details of all of our suppliers etc. and run everything on the day to ensure we had a stress free experience but she also provided all of our signage and created a beautiful and original table plan for us, which was the one thing we had no plan for, and offered to video the ceremony and speeches for us so that grandparents who couldn't make it could still be part of the day! It all went so smoothly and was everything we were hoping for and more and such a large part of that was down to Ann thinking of all the things we might need (big and small) and making sure they were done. Ann is outstanding! There aren’t many more important days in one’s life than your wedding day, which makes getting it right so important. Ann delivered us the most spectacular wedding day which exceeded our expectations. Guests have since told us that our wedding was the best they’ve ever been to, every time we think about why; it comes back to Ann’s hard work, tenacity and dedication! Working with Ann was effortless and so much fun! Our family and friends commented on how calm we both were running up to the wedding, and even on the day; this was largely down to Ann’s exceptional organisation and overall approach. Ann kept to budget, and always considered how she could make our budget go further. Ann runs a virtual worksheet to hold all the budget details, supplier contracts and timelines on which means that everything is in one place, easy to understand and accessible 24/7. Ann worked tirelessly to present us with supplier options to a time poor couple who lead busy lives. Ann’s established network and contacts meant that Ann knew suppliers that were perfect for us. We held our wedding in South Wales which wasn’t an area Ann had covered before, and that didn’t stop her finding exceptional suppliers! There was no issue that couldn’t be worked through, no problem that couldn’t be solved and no supplier that couldn’t be found. My husband and I were astounded by Ann’s tenacity, professionalism and determination from our very first FaceTime call with her to the day itself. Having Ann on your wedding team is the best wedding decision you’ll make, just behind ‘Yes’ and ‘I do’! My fiancé (now husband!) and I were very keen to organise as much of our wedding as possible but as time went on we realised we just couldn’t manage everything by ourselves on the day. After our first skype session with Ann we were pretty sure we would be the right fit for each other. Well, honestly the experience from the moment we booked her to our wedding day and after-care has been absolutely exceptional and exceeded our highest expectations. Firstly, we thought that on the day co-ordination just involved one meeting for a handover just before our wedding then she would just turn up on the day. In fact, we ended up having numerous skype calls with Ann starting months before our wedding, she met us for a site visit that was so thorough it lasted half a day and she even came for another site visit with us just before our wedding to meet our photographer and videographer. We had a very ambitious schedule for our wedding day involving 3 events at 3 different locations (!!) This did not leave much room for error and we don’t know how we would have pulled it off without Ann. She kept us on time throughout the day, went above and beyond to help when things did not go to plan – which included negotiating a private room for us to have some photos at our hotel, and sewing me into my wedding dress! There is very little that Ann cannot achieve for you on your wedding day! Most of all, this was all done with so much care and professionalism. One of our groomsmen was heard muttering at the start of the day “what’s the point of a wedding co-ordinator?” however by the end of the night he was eating a big slice of humble pie after realising just how much Ann did throughout the day and much harder his job would have been without her! From beginning to end, we found Ann to be extremely personable, focussed, organised, and so efficient. She was always willing to take a call, answer an email or a text if we were worried about something. Above all she really made us feel that she was on our side, she understood our vision, and wanted to help us get the best out of our wedding day. We truly felt like we were friends or family rather than paying customers to her. With Ann Nicholas Weddings you get so much more than on the day co-ordination, you get someone who really listens, stands up for what you want, and works so hard on your wedding day to make it a really special experience, even if things are going pear-shaped you will hardly know it! Ann came on board to help us finalise details and arrangements six weeks out of our wedding day as well as with on the day management, and she was incredible! My partner and I can be perfectionists, however working with Ann alleviated any stresses in the final build up. She prompted us to think about things we had not considered which really added to the smooth running to the day, no task was too big or small, and she took on all supplier and wedding party timings and logistics (which would've been a smooth task). She is very experienced and makes you feel like you're in a really safe pair of hands. The day itself was perfect and this was largely down to Ann, the venues looked exactly as we imagined and everything ran perfectly. She was so thoughtful looking out for us both on the day, thinking ahead for us - tiny things like taking our coats and ensuring we always had a drink in hand be it champagne or water (when needed). Ann helped us through producing a beautiful wedding in the common behind our house which presented many challenges around setup, design & production. All of this on a tight timescale and budget. Ann was incredibly professional & pleasant to work with throughout, providing us with plenty of options and clear financial information, as well as used her vast network of providers to help us get the result we wanted. If you need some help/ advise or just general reassurance of someone to make your day run absolutely perfect, then you need Ann in your life! I went with a venue I thought would do everything for me. I didn't realise along with the fun part of planning a wedding (choosing dress, venue, flowers) comes a lot of other stress. Insurances, health and safety, risk Assessment That Ann just sorted all for me she was so ready for any situation that may arise on the day and I wouldn't even know about it. The week before the wedding I was so chilled and getting pampered whilst Ann was confirming with supplier and arranging final details. I met Ann at a wedding show and knew within 5 minutes that I would buy my dress from her before I’d even been to a shop! ! I went to try dresses on my own as I didn’t want to be swayed by others opinions. Ann was amazing, she picked out some options for me and let me try a few wildcards and gave me helpful opinions on them all! It took an hour to find my dress and I couldn’t have had a better person help me! I know the dress I chose wouldn’t have been loved if I’d taken family with me, but once it was my dress and they saw it on they all loved it! I had to plan my wedding in 6 months as my mum was very ill. Ann was there for me all the way from beginning to end. Ann was so wonderfully kind and put me in touch with the most amazing florist.
Not only did she help choose my dress, but accessories too. She helped with my bridesmaids dresses and calmed me when I had a meltdown after I changed my mind on the colour of the dresses. Unfortunately my mum passed away 5 weeks before the day and I have to say Ann was a tower or strength to me. She was so supportive and helped me to make decisions at such an emotional time in my life.
Ann is so talented and an amazing organiser. She is professional and reliable and her attention to detail is second to none .

Ann is simply wonderful when it comes to all things 'weddings.' I met Ann at a bridal fayre and fell in love with her amazing personality. Subsequently I was lucky enough to win a bridal competition from Ann's Bridal whereby I could have the dress of my choice. The choice was overwhelming but Ann was patient with me, pulling out options that I would never have considered. After several glasses of fizz, kindly provided by Ann, I had settled on the dress of my dreams. Ann has fantastic contacts in the wedding industry but I could not use many of them as I had already settled on a destination wedding at Lake Bled, Slovenia. Six weeks ahead of our wedding day, my fiancé and I started getting stressed. We had secured the venues and most of our vendors but we were worried about the logistics and scheduling of the day. It just seemed like we had so many moving parts and so many details we still needed to figure out. And on top of everything else, we were planning our Oxford wedding from our home in New York City. We decided to look for a day-of wedding coordinator, not being sure what that entailed, but knowing that we definitely needed help!
When we met Ann over a video call for our initial consultation, we immediately felt better. Ann ran through the day with us, asking lots of questions. After our first meeting, Ann reviewed our list of vendors, guest list, and schedule for the day. She also met with representatives from our ceremony and reception venues and talked with key vendors on the phone. When the time came for our second meeting, Ann talked through our schedule with us and identified parts that were in good shape, parts that needed work, and parts that could be even better. We were put at ease knowing she had thought through our plans so carefully. Ann was also constantly available to us, and always made us feel welcome to ask her any questions, big or small.
In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Ann worked to make several improvements and add special touches to our wedding day. After the ceremony we planned to process with our guests to the reception venue. Ann prepared maps for the guests, hired umbrellas in case of rain, and bought balloons for the wedding party. These changes ensured that our guests made it from point A to B quickly, and in style. My fiancé and I had a general idea of what we wanted for favors, and Ann helped us refine our ideas and found a baker to provide custom frosted biscuits. Ann also secured bunting, programs, signs, and a lovely handwritten seating chart. Beyond ensuring the logistics of the day were in order, Ann encouraged us to add details to make the day even more special.
On the day of the wedding, Ann seemed to be everywhere at once, despite the distance between our two venues. She made sure everything was arranged perfectly at both venues, and even helped me put on my wedding dress and fastened boutonnieres on the groom and groomsmen. My fiancé and I were able to focus on enjoying our special day with each other and our friends and family because Ann made sure all of the logistics and details were taken care of. What do you love most about your job?
Having worked in the wedding industry for 12 years, I can honestly say I love everything about weddings. Each couple has their own vision of how they want the day to be, and I love nothing more than helping them achieve that. It's wonderful to be able to make the journey as enjoyable and stress free as possible for the bride & groom.
What inspired you to start your own business?
12 years ago, it was wanting to have the flexibility to work around my children who were all at school. Creating a balance where I could spend time with my family, whilst also working in an industry that I had a real passion for.
