Our services include Dog Walking, Cat Sitting, feeding & tray cleaning and a good old tickle on the tum (Only for your cat however....!) on a visit basis in your own home. We also cater for smaller animals, Rabbits, Guinea pigs Etc.
We also offer our Very Popular Live In Pet Care Service, where your pets are looked after in their own home and have human company over night.

I just want to say what a wonderful service Chris and Taff have provided for us over the last six years caring for our extremely special cats. They have been simply amazing with our elderly cat. Not only with feeding and lots of love and attention during visits but especially taking time to groom her coat which had become very matted.In fact, she looks like a new cat with her glossy coat! When we moved from London we were worried about our Elderly Beagle socialising with a new group as she had her firm friends in London. Chris and Taf made the transition for our little lady. lilly (beagle) enjoyed every walk, and sometime I wondered if Taff realised she would never join in with the conversation he was having with her! animates is a wonderful, personable, and friendly company, after seeing so many other dog walking companies whilst we have been out and about and how they “care” for the dogs I have to say Chris and Taff truly treat every dog as their own, there is no one more devoted to the care of animals. What do you love most about your job?
What do we Love Most about our job? Having the chance to have an extended pet family. We have owned pets all our lives but over the years, have felt we can never have enough to satisfy our insatiable need for more. :-)
Sadly we only have one 14 year old Afghan Hound at present, who is the last of three generations ownership of this beautiful, fascinating breed. We would both be very lost if Ayesha were to be our 'end of the line' for owning any of Gods Beautiful Creatures. I sincerely hope she won't be though, as we have many more years to fill yet. Hopefully....! So we do really need your much loved pets too...!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started in the Pet Industry by doing a small amount of Dog Grooming for a few friends and family, then one day I had a telephone call from a lady at our local Social Services Office based in Wrexham. She wanted to know if I knew of anyone who could help out an elderly lady who had just been admitted to hospital, leaving a Poodle behind with no one who was physically able to care for her. I said I didn't know of anyone who offered any such service but I would try to see if I could find out if there in fact there was such a thing. She then went on to tell me that the Poodle was in a very sad condition, its coat was badly matted and looked as though she had a nasty skin condition which needed attending to straight away. So, I said I would take a look to see if there was anything I could actually do to help. There was, so I agreed to take the poor little Poodle on. I told the Social Services lady that I would have to clip the badly matted coat off completely then bath the dog with a special shampoo which had to be obtained from the ladies Veterinary Practice. This I did because I couldn't bare to see her suffer any longer. The baths had to be done for a number of weeks until her hair started to growI back. During that time I also went in to attend to her feeding, walking and other needs every day. A relative of the lady was paying me for my time and efforts so that got me thinking...! Instead of Dog Grooming I could start my own Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Company. The Rest They Say, Is History...!
Why should our clients choose you?
We are a flexible but relatively small bespoke service and will always try our utmost to fit your pets into our schedule. We can do regular walks or ad hoc for those who only need a day here or there.
A maximum of two dogs are walked per walker, so more time for fusses, fun and games for each dog in our care. We walk on lead, for maximum safety of your dogs, we do not want any disappearing on our watch.
Live In Pet Sitting
Have your pets looked after in their own homes, where they are at their happiest. Either myself or Taff would stay in your house giving the all the care they could possibly want and more.
