Animals at home have been fantastic with my cat so far! I booked them for the 30 minute cat sitting visits for our holiday. They came over for a discussion on exactly what she needs & to learn her routine. They have a great balance of professional, but friendly & casual. They give updates, pictures & videos of the interaction to reassure you on how they're doing whilst you're away. It's all at a very good price for such a great service. My cat is very nervous around new people as she hasn't had much exposure to new people because of lockdown. After a couple of visits, she's been getting more fussy & comfortable with him. Lynette, from the kings Lynn and West Norfolk branch of Animals At Home, collected my new puppy for me last Friday. I was extremely happy with her service. I chose Lynette from a variety of different puppy carriers because of her detailed email response and her reassuring words when I phoned her up. She kept in touch for the whole journey, from Barnsley, and as Amber, my puppy, was so small she put her in a cat carrier on the front seat with her. This meant she could immediately see if Amber became upset or needed changing-which did happen. She also stopped for cuddles with the puppy and to feed her. A massive thank you to Andy Kinnard of Animals At Home (National Forest) Ltd. I was really stuck getting my dog to a veterinary appointment. I contacted Andy and at really short notice was able to arrange for him to pick up my dog and take him to our local vets. He was incredibly professional and my dog was so relaxed. Andrew at animals at home ,Burton on trent, provided us with a fantastic service. He visited our cat daily giving him lots of fuss, tidied up his mess when he decided to shred some of our carpet and knock off a glass pot and even put out our bin. We have been using Con and Nora for the last 2 years and we are so happy to have found them. Both our dogs are utterly devoted to them - and beside themselves with joy when they realise Con or Nora have come to collect them. Our dogs are so well cared for, and always reassuringly tired after a full day in daycare - they get plenty of exercise and lots of stimulus being part of the Con and Nora pack.

Both Con and Nora clearly understand the different personalities of our dogs, and therefor the different needs they have, and always take time to chat at collection or drop off, keeping a dialogue going about what our boys may be up to. And Nora is a font of knowledge about natural remedies we could try before heading off to the vet.

A huge plus point is how reliable and flexible the arrangement is. Not only can we totally rely on their time keeping, but we both have jobs which sometimes involve last minute meetings, or even unexpected travel, and Con and Nora are unfailingly accommodating and dependable. They have literally changed our lives, and we couldn’t recommend them more highly. More...

We knew Con and Nora when they owned a pet shop in Hampstead, and our Cavalier King Charles spaniel Phoebe always looked forward to visiting them for a treat. So imagine our delight when we discovered they now were taking care of pets for Animals at Home in North West London! Our beloved Phoebe receives wonderful care in their home when we travel and we are so pleased that she is looked after by a couple who are devoted to animals and treat Phoebe as their very own. They take her for long walks, give her lots of cuddles and even send us pictures and videos when we are away...That is very special care indeed! Following the sudden death of my mum we needed to arrange emergency care for our dog Bailey so we could travel and attend her funeral. By luck we came across a phone number for Animals at Home North West London and in turn came in to contact with Con and Nora who were absolutely amazing. At very short notice they were able to take Bailey into their home for 3 days where he was treated as one of their own. Bailey had never been away from us before and we worried he would have difficulty settling, however, Con and Nora sent us photo's every day which put our minds at rest and showed that Bailey was very happy, loved and being cared for to the highest of standards. Bailey now has an extended family, his Uncle Con, Aunty Nora and cousins George and Ailsa !! We were very impressed at the care Bailey received from Con and Nora and would have no hesitation in using their wonderful service again.

Con and Nora looked after our french bulldog Dexter at short notice (1week) due to our regular dogboarder being away. After meeting them i was very happy and confident that Dexter was going to be well looked after while we went on holiday for a week. They sent regular photos and videos via whatsapp which showed him having a lovely time with their two dogs. Nora and Con at Animals at Home were beyond fantastic! After being left without someone to look after our cat Salem over Christmas I searched manically for cattery’s or catsitters, both of which were booked up or unbelievably over priced. I finally stumbled over Animals at Home and from the get go, Con and Nora were accommodating, friendly and professional. They were more than happy to help me, came to see the house and the cat at a time that suited me, and made me feel extremely confident that they would take great care of Salem- all of this and at an extraordinarily reasonable price, incomparable to anywhere else I had found. When we were away Nora send me updates, pictures and videos daily to let me know what was going on and that Salem was safe and happy. I couldn’t recommend Nora and Con more highly! My weimaraner Max has had a fantastic experience staying with Nora and Con and their dogs George & Elsa. Max was heavily walked and given endless TLC and I got both video and photographic feedback throughout his first stay, I work as an actor and have been able to book ahead with absolute confidence. It is rare that you find people who will love your dog as much as you love do but Nora and Con really do! Marley absolutely loves spending time with them and their 2 resident dogs, George and Elsa. Every time she has to have a doggy day care day, she is bouncing around, pulling on the lead when we get close and starts barking and howling at the dog in anticipation of a great fun day with her friends. We went away for 2 months and Marley stayed with Nora and Con dog boarding. Anyone will know how hard it is to leave your dog for a longer period of time, and although it was difficult, we knew Marley would be fine. And she was loving her holiday stay!! Lots of doggy friends and making besties with George and Elsa. Being an independent girl, Marley never really slept close to other dogs but during her stay she changed and we received pictures of her sleeping peacefully next to George. Nora and Con send us updates, photos and videos every few days of the adventures of Marley and her friends. They followed her feeding instructions to the letter and Marley, being an always hungry and rather greedy girl, did not gain any weight. This was an important issue as she has a bit of arthritis. We tried other dog sitters and day carers, some I felt very unsure about and didn't want to leave her with them. With Nora and Con I knew she would be great. They love what they do and love walking all the happy wagging tails. When we came to pick up Marley after our holiday, they were visibly sad that Marley was going home. So of course, Marley comes back regularly and everyone is super happy! I think it is healthy for a dog to spend time with others and there are no one more perfect and loving for the job than Nora and Con. More...
