What do you love most about your job?
Both Mel and I enjoy meeting a the range of different dog and seeing all of their different personalities. We enjoy being able to help our clients enhance their relationship with their dog/cats through positive behaviour training. and always set satisfaction from seeing a dog progress through our training programmes.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Both Mel and I are very passionate about educating pet owners on the benefits of using positive reinforcement within animal training. We are also passionate about enabling owners to develop a strong bond with their pet and works to prevent the development of behaviour problems.
Why should our clients choose you?
Melissa Fallon is a highly qualified (MSc) and experienced behaviourist and dog trainer. Melissa completed a degree in Animal Behaviour Science from the University of Lincoln which developed her interest and knowledge in animal behaviour. She then went on to complete her Professional graduate degree in teaching and learning (PGCE) in order to teach training and behaviour to students completing diplomas and degrees. Melissa then specialised further by completing a Masters degree in Clinical Animal Behaviour awarded by the University of Lincoln. During and following education she has gained experience running training classes as well as canine and feline behaviour consultations. Melissa has also attended the 'Life skills for puppies training the trainers course'
Vickie is a qualified and experienced dog trainer, with years of experience working with dogs in industry. Vickie achieved a Animal Behaviour degree in 2004 Vickie gained experience working for the assistance dog charity Hearing Dogs for Deaf People for several years as a Dog Welfare Manager. She then went on to complete her professional graduate degree in teaching and Learning (PGCE) to enable her to teach training and behaviour at diploma and degree level. She is currently studying for her MA in Animal Human interactions (anthrozoology).
