For almost a year, I have had the privilege to take personalized, private digital photography lessons from Andy Mars. My photography aptitude has greatly increased as I have learned Photoshop, Lightroom, textured photography and video editing. I have learned how to work with difficult lighting to create the best photograph for clients and proper positioning for photo shoots, headshots, and group events. She always goes out of her way to help her students. With her assistance, I am creating a website, have entered numerous art shows and have my photographs displayed in local restaurants. Andy Mars’ enthusiasm and expertise caused me to turn a hobby and passion into a career. She even has allowed me to assist her at a photo session to give me more experience and expertise. She is talented, passionate, easy going, very friendly, welcoming, and hard working. She is very flexible and always accommodated my college schedule. Both I and My wife feel Privileged to have had Andy Mars as our wedding photographer back in July 2014. on first meeting her you immediately feel at ease. very professional in her approach and at the same time very easy to get on with.not once feeling awkward whilst walking around and having our pictures taken in Central park NY. organised and well in control of the wedding party making sure all the right shots were taken nobody missed plus some pretty entertaining photos with random groups of people in the park made our day so special I wanted to repeat it.plus choosing all the great locations and composition of shots etc. if it weren't for the fact we live in the UK I would most definitely like to take some photography tuition.a photographer I beleive who does it for the art. I took an iPhone photography course with Andy and a whole other world opened up for me. From the get go I was able to take fantastic pictures with my iPhone. ..perfect focus, perfect light. From there we went on to explore many apps which then brought a whole other creative dimension to my photos. Seeing what she did with her photos was an inspiration! Andy is an incredibly talented photographer. She took the most amazing, authentic photos of our family for our 25 wedding anniversary. My children, who usually aren't into the family photo experience, had a great time. I purchased a print from Andy Mars. It was a scene of two elderly people in the park, gardening. She turned what could have been an ordinary scene into a beautiful work of art. With experienced handling, she enhanced the colors and light to make it truly impressionistic.
