I Can really recommend Andrea, she recently came to our House to photograph our newborn baby and my family. Andrea came to our house to take some photos of our 2 year old boy recently and she was excellent. She took the time to allow him to get comfortable with her and during the shoot was patient and reassuring with him, also bringing a lot of fun to the shoot. The photos that came out of it were truly stunning, showing all the character our little lad has, with an excellent range of different poses despite how difficult it was to keep him still!! Some of these have now been added to his ‘Baby Models’ page as they look so professional, with the flash drive displaying all of the images to be kept forever to allow us to remember him at this age. We have also now asked her to come and take photos at his 3rd birthday party on the back of this. Thank you again Andrea for the wonderful photos, we are very happy with them! � xx More...

Andrea did a photoshoot of our baby girl when she was a week old. It was an amazing experience for all of us. After a full on week with a newborn it was so wonderful to see our baby in such cute and peaceful positions, it bought a tear to my eye �� we also had some photos taken with us and Baby and Andrea made us feel very comfortable.

Andrea was recommended to us when we were looking for some professional pictures of our new baby. She was very keen for us to be comfortable so came to our house and set up a mini-studio whilst we got to know each other. Something that really reassured me as a new mum, was how amazing she was with our son, taking time to settle and sooth him so we were all comfortable. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Apart from technical abilities, building a rapport quickly and engaging with your subject. Relaxing your client and making them feel like they have known you for years. Patience, a sense of fun, imagination and a clear understanding of your clients brief.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What is the project about? What excites you about the project? Do you have a particular style or look that you prefer or want to achieve? Have you collected any ideas or mood boards that explore or illustrate what you are aiming to achieve? What do you like to see when you look at a photograph and what don't you like to see? What is about my work that attracted you to it in relation to your project?
What do you love most about your job?
To be part of and create memories of a special day or event is a privilege that I treasure. After meeting your clients and talking about their projects you as a photographer invest in their idea and I love going that extra mile to make sure that I deliver. Creating a story of your day / event that makes you smile and sparks warm memories is my aim. I also get to meet a huge variety of people and have some amazing chats.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always had a camera with me for as long as I can remember and always said that I would be a full time photographer one day. I have put that into motion in the last few years and I am now making my dream happen.
Why should our clients choose you?
Having worked in a Corporate industry for a long time my strengths include organisational skills, communication skills, problem solving and time management skills. I am able to relate to people on all levels and I do not panic, being able to adapt and think on my feet. I also have an artistic background and I have an excellent eye for detail. Being slightly more mature has given me great life experience and I have a natural curiosity for life, enjoying new experiences and learning opportunities.
