We had a very good experience with this company, from the outset (getting quotes) to completion of work. It was not a straightforward job as it is an old house with high ceilings and a lot of problems. Job Description: Skylight fitting, repairs to ceiling and coving, wallpapering, sanding and painting doors.Tony and his staff were very professional and helpful. The standard of work was excellent, with good attention to detail. We appreciated Tony inspecting the work at regular intervals, to maintain good quality and standards; he was available and helpful with any queries we had during the work. Booked for kitchen redecoration to be carried out whilst on a weeks holiday so no interference! On return found work to have been carried out to basically a high standard, with all clean and tidy. However on closer examination found some relativily minor areas we were not satisfied with! Unfortuately lad who did the work had to go into hospital the following Monday, and it took approx. 3/4 weeks to get someone back to carry out the remeadial work, hence 4 stars! Tony came out as promised and quoted for exterior painting of a full house (semi detached) and some rendering repairs. We booked it and first thing on the morning of the start day Tony was there to introduce the guys who would be doing the work, and he took them through the spec. The guys did a great job, turned up on time, put in long shifts and cleaned up very well afterwards. We had one small follow up query which we contacted Tony's office about the next day, this was addressed and resolved that same day which was great. Very happy and would definitely use again. I am so impressed with the brilliant job Tony and his team did when redecorating my living room. They completely transformed the room; removing the old paper and re plastering, painting and hanging new wallpaper. Not knowing any decorators to call, I found Tony on Yell.com and called him for advice on a painting job I had to do. He listened to my specific requirements, advised best options and we booked a date for him to come along. I found him and his team to be very professional from the outset. I work from home and was able to carry on with my job whilst they did the work without any interruptions at all! They were so neat and tidy and the results are exactly how I imagined. They insisted on tidying up after themselves. A nice touch was to ask me how I felt the job had gone once they left before sending an invoice whereas a lot of companies would be seeking payment as they were putting their tools away. It was more important that I was happy with the job than me paying which I felt was a great touch. I have known Tony Da Silva over a period of 4 years, Tony and his team did an excellent Make - over on my Hall ,Stairs and Landing. . It was wallpapered, painted, new doors fitted, and coving ,laminate flooring installed followed by carpeting stairs . In addition the downstairs cloakroom had new plumbing fitted and units ,all pipework hidden and new electrics inside and out Tony and his team were professional ,polite and punctual, they replaced fitments and removed all rubbish. I knew Tony through a friend of mine having work done at their offices by him and his workers and was impressed. Tony and his workers did some work on my home and they gave a great personal touch that left my home looking and feeling even better than I could have expected. I left them to it whilst away on holiday and Tonys experience and design ideas improved my home within my budget. The ideas made my smaller rooms looked so much more open and spacious and made the most of storage space. previous decorators always left a mess but Tony and his team are extremely thorough and make it code practice to ensure when you come home everything is tidy and very clean.
