Sleeping Well
We have used Ambient for professional shots for our business as well as family photos and they are wonderful! I'm camera-phobic and just can't get comfortable having my photo taken. Alex and Kathy make it easy and relaxed and they always capture images that feel totally authentic. Standard posed shots are always great quality, but it's much harder to capture someone's essence, and they do it (seemingly) effortlessly. More...

I Want Bagles !!!
I gotta say, we are booking our third family photo shoot with Ambient in the last six years. Excellent work, puts the family at ease; suggestions on clothes / colors to wear, where to shoot either studio, on their or your land - they were able to draw out the best of us! My father who was a Vietnam combat Army photographer commented highly on his work. When Alex was bringing over proofs for our second photo shoot, our new pup (who had just gotten the "cone of shame" resulting from surgery) ran off - two hours of searching in briars, mud and mosquitos - Alex found him, THANKS ALEX!! I have been working with Alex & Ambient Photography since May 2011. His ability to capture candid moments in an impossible situation is second to none. He is flexible and works to your needs during photo shoots, and provides an array of different photo shoot packages (baby in and out, a child's first year, a child's first X years, etc...). The studio is very welcoming, and there is a huge outdoor space for endless photo options. He is everything you want from a photographer, is a master of his craft, and is exemplary in customer service. I would not recommend any other photographer in the Northeast. More...
