Allison and her amazing team of ladies photographed our wedding on October 22nd. Although we haven't seen the photos yet, I know they will be beautiful! I knew the first meeting with Allison that she was our photographer. She was professional but has a certain spark to her. When I was planning my wedding, one of my biggest sources of stress was finding the right photographer. These will be the pictures you have for the rest of your life, and the right photographer makes all the difference (no pressure, right? !). I called and emailed SO many different photographers. I narrowed it down to 2, one of them being Allison. I decided I would call each one and have a conversation about what I wanted, what I was looking for and go from there. I called Allison and instantly just clicked with her. Let me just say, I LOVE this girl. She is unbelievably talented! We did our engagement session and I thought it would be a good test as I had some unusual props for our photos (I brought my horse and dog for the first half, and our canoe for the second half). Allison and her assistant Whitney were great! She came up with so many creative ideas, and was so patient with my four legged kids when they got impatient standing for photos. When our canoe idea didn't work out (the lake we were going to use looked less than ideal), she quickly improvised and came up with plan B. Well, plan B turned out to be stunning! During my wedding morning I was able to watch Whitney snap a few of my detail shots - she was coming up with SO many creative ideas to showcase our details. During the ceremony they blended in so well, even though they were getting all the important shots. I never felt like I had a camera stuck in my face or like I was being relentlessly followed, although I know they were there getting the perfect photos. Allison and her team always made us feel comfortable, encouraging us to joke, laugh and cut up with them. She took us back out for sunset photos and oh my, the preview shots look unreal - just imagine you and your significant other starring in your own fairy tale. Allison and Whitney went out of their way on more than one occasion to make sure we had the perfect photos. My husband and I no where near starting a family yet, but you can bet that when that time comes, we'll be using Allison for our family photos. I can't say enough nice things about Allison Bolsega Photography. She came highly recommended from a wedding planner friend, and I can see why. She is a joy to work with, would recommend to any bride, and I'll stay in touch with her to hire for future work events as well.

Don't be fooled by the site - although her background caters to the family and newborn shots, she is a booming wedding photographer to be reckoned with!!!!!!!! Attentive, responsive, kind, funny, creative, thoughtful and incredibly flexible. She even went out of her way to attend the rehearsal and was a blast to have at rehearsal dinner.
