We have moved here from a local vets who are part of a chain based in a pet store. I cannot fault these amazing people who always, always treat you like you’re apart of the family. I reccomend ACHC to anyone who owns rats. The past couple of time I've had to bring Chico in they've been real gentle with him. He's a shy little man and can be a bit bitey with people he's not familiar with so the fact they've been able to stroke him and pick him up without getting bitten speaks volumes. On top of this I always leave confident that he's seen a vet that does understand rats and their needs, something every rat owner worries about. More...

So impressed with this Practice. We had to have our beautiful dog put to sleep last month as she had developed a large stomach tumour. unfortunately there was nothing they could do to save her as it was inoperable and also taking into account her age and the kind of operation it was much kinder for her. They were very kind and gave us time whilst she was asleep to say our goodbyes. She didnt suffer at all and we were so grateful to have that time with her. It's given us all great comfort. I had to take my elderly pet hen to be pts a few weeks ago . A few days afterwards I received a card through the post from the Vet acknowledging the loss of my pet. The best and most relaxed vets i have ever been to, took my ferret to them after being referred by pets at home. They took such care and dedication when checking out the lump my poor boy had and gave me options. He had to have surgery to remove it and they kept me informed throughout the whole process offering advice on what they would do. Thankfully my boy pulled through and the lump was removed as much as they could and all is looking well, he has to go back for a check up in a week but other than that he is a happy little boy again. I would like to thank everyone at the practice for the care and love they showed to my ferret and myself, the time they took in looking at him and dealing with the horrible lump he had. I could not have asked for anymore, i would certainly recommend to anyone who has an exotic pet that needs help or advice.Thank you all your amazing. More...

Had to unfortunately put my bunny to sleep today. The staff were so lovely, they took me straight into a private room and gave me time with my bun, talked to me and waited until i was ready to say goodbye. Excellent care.

I came here for the first time last week - the first exotic vets I've been to for my guinea pigs. Very different experience to a normal vet since they actually knew how to deal with them. Sadly, I had to put my guinea pig to sleep that day but I received a very kind card offering their condolences a couple of days later. They did as much as possible to ensure she wasnt in any pain and I'm incredibly grateful for how they dealt with it on such a difficult day More...

I have been coming to this practice for around 18 months now. Their knowledge of guinea pigs is exceptionally good, and they have looked after my eldest piggie through two operations.
I have no hesitation on recommending these guys for exotic pets.

Visited All Creatures for the first time today with my injured dog Lucy. Lucy is a nervous and situational snappy dog. The vet took that all in her stride and was very calm with the dog.
