Chichester, West Sussex
Bespoke portrait photography. I work predominantly in black and white, taking timeless images that I can arrange to be printed and framed to archival standards. I am an experienced portrait photographer with a strong portfolio, who particularly enjoys the challenge of location photography with children and animal companions.

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The light! And great rapport with the subject. Photographs capture a moment in time that tell a story, and it is my job to find your narrative.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Where are the photos going to end up? In a multi-aperture frame on your kitchen wall, on your company website or in a brochure? If you had to define the style of the photoshoot in a few words, what would they be? What's your timeframe? How's your budget looking? Black & white, reportage, vintage or colour?
What do you love most about your job?
The people. My Nikons. Starting a project and seeing it to the finish.
Enjoying the moment when people first see their gallery. The shoots! My Nikons. (Again).
What inspired you to start your own business?
You have to do what you always thought you'd do. It's more about the photography than the business for me, and I'm lucky I can have a career doing something I love.
Why should our clients choose you?
1. Great images.
2. I listen intently to the client to make sure we fit. I'm not afraid to say no. I prefer saying yes.
3. I've got a Phd. (Hire me to ask me what in).
4. I need work to keep me sane.
