Alexis is an experienced elected Councillor with a track record of over 15 years working and interacting at all levels in Politics, local government and the private sector while still running her own small business. She is involved locally as a school Governor and in a wider arena on a variety of Boards and Management committees. She enjoys problem-solving and building relationships with stakeholders while demonstrating sound judgment and independence of mind. During her year as Chairman of New Forest District Council, Alexis raised £10,000 for charity and she is always looking forward to new challenges.

The Chairman welcomes members of the Royal Family when they visit the District, receives dignitaries and other visitors, hosts civic functions and attends numerous local events, large and small. During my year as First Citizen of the New Forest District, I raised £10,000 for charity, which was self funded and then shared between Honeypot Children’s Charity and Help for Heroes.
