Alex stepped in to save us at short notice as our wedding photographer this summer and we are so happy that he did. Simply put, Alex is excellent! We met before the big day to take a few photos and he immediately made us feel at ease with his friendly manner, professionalism and fun sense of humour. For our wedding, Alex spent the whole day photographing every aspect in a calm and unobtrusive way. He worked tirelessly throughout, and we even had a nice surprise at the end of the day!It’s obvious that Alex is a very skilled photographer and we were absolutely delighted with his photos, which perfectly captured our big day. We are so grateful to Alex for being our fabulous wedding photographer in September 2019 and would have no doubt in recommending him to others. We chose Alex as he is able to capture such emotion in his photos and he has such an eye for documenting real moments in such an unobtrusive way. I also had the added bonus of knowing what a wonderfully kind, calm and thoughtful person he is from our 13 years of friendship, and knew that he was someone I would want to be around to calm my nerves on my big day. Alex made me feel so at ease on the day and it didn’t take long before I could stop feeling so self conscious about being photographed every few seconds! Alex captured all the special moments and he managed to slip into the background so that we could be fully immersed in our wedding day and not miss spending time with our friends or family, which was important to us. Alex came round to our house the morning after the wedding to deliver us a set of Polaroids of the highlights from the wedding day-we were so impressed with such a quick turnaround and they made us really excited about seeing the rest- they were also the perfect size to take with us on our honeymoon to reminisce on our big day. Alex had the photos ready soon after we returned from our honeymoon and he sent us a beautiful personalised usb stick with all the photos on- all very thoughtful touches that made it feel like such a special experience. We have loved the hours spent looking through the photos and every time we look through them we really feel like we are transported right back to the day. I don't think I've ever rated anyone 5* before. Friends and family will agree that I'm tough to please. I've always got a 'room for improvement' suggestion. .. except for Alex Adams' Photography. He is absolutely brilliant. I was so impressed by his professionalism and his friendly manner. Getting some photographs to remember the day was really important to me, but unfortunately, I'm also someone who hates having their photo taken! Alex rose admirably to the challenge. His quiet encouragement on the day itself helped give me the confidence to relax and just have fun. From the start, he really listened to what was important to us and has managed to translate it into memories that will last us for a life time. Where do I start? I guess by telling you that the easiest decision you'll have to make for your wedding is picking a photographer - it's Alex Adams! We couldn't be happier with our wedding photos. Alex's style really appealed to us - getting the natural, 'un-staged' moments that truly capture the emotion and feel of the shot. However, we did ask for some 'posing' photos as well and he clearly has a brilliant natural eye for these too. An added bonus is that Alex is a very calming influence - so is just the tonic for the nervy, pre-wedding build up! The only mystery is how a 6'2" man can stealth around a room and remain virtually invisible to the untrained eye. A master of both photography and inconspicuousness! More...

We couldn't have asked for a better photographer for our wedding. Alex's style suited us perfectly; he was unobtrusive, allowing us to enjoy our day (exactly how he describes on his website). Having your wedding photographer as someone you know is a bonus, but that's not why we chose Alex to capture our big day. For us it was all about trusting someone 110% to capture this happy celebration in a relaxed, natural, non-staged manner so we can look back at real 'moments' of the day . He was there in the background but we must have been oblivious because there are so many "what an amazing shot! I didn't even notice him there!" photos we absolutely love, Alex clearly has a superb eye. Having someone truly excited over the prospect of a unique shot with a gorgeous (and unplanned of course) sunset is when you know there's a real passion for photography.
