I am a fully qualified personal trainer specializing in muscular hypertrophy for both women and men, fat loss and strength and conditioning. I am a naturally trained athlete and have studied and been fascinated with how muscular definition, lean muscle tone and strength can go hand in hand and how muscles can be trained and stimulated with a variety of training techniques to get to how you want to look and feel. Muscle definition provides inner and outer strength bringing out the confident person that hides inside you. I have over 10 years of experience with dealing with agility, strength and muscle definition training. I have also had much success with fat loss, nutrition and most of all motivation to see my clients succeed. I am a friendly, motivated person willing to help anyone reach their goals. My training sessions are challenging but most of all, fun! Don't be surprised when you become addicted to training to become the best you can possibly be!

Big Al ran one of the best circuit classes I ever went too! They were tough, sometimes brutal but always good fun. He was spot on with technique tips and would also give you other strength expercises you could do away from the classes - bring them back Big Al!!

Alan is a great personal trainer. Every session is unique and varied and tailored to your individual goals or needs. I have asthma and Alan sometimes has to alter my training to take into account my wheezy lungs. My sessions are always interesting and challenging - I have discovered a love of boxing recently and Alan has patiently been helping me to improve my technique. He has provided me with a diet plan (that I don't stick to) and regularly assesses my progress/fitness with me. Alan is always encouraging and supportive in sessions - even when I'm half asleep at 6am on a cold winter morning. I recommend Alan most highly and without reservation.

I signed up with Alan last year after I had committed to a 100k charity trek across the Sahara desert, I had been going to the gym but quickly realised I needed to step it up if I was to complete it, so signed up with Alan !! best decision I made.
He is very professional doesn't push to hard but just enough, I also have a medical condition which he fully researched and tailored the exercises to help me, which I was very impressed with.
Cannot recommend enough, and I managed to complete my challenge relatively easy !! Apart from blisters
