I have been using AKS for several years now and have always found the staff to be very efficient and polite. I am diabetic so it is important to have regular foot checks and they give good advice how to care for my feet. Anshu Varma operates a very efficient practice for podiatry treatment and her attention to detail when examining and treat your feet is 100%. As a type 2 diabetic she has maintained my feet in a perfect condition and any signs of infection are sort out during the consultation without the need to return for another appointment. What ever the fee is for your regular consultation is what you pay, and she rarely adds extra charges for added time to sort out problems. I rate AKS very highly indeed and would have no hesitation in recommending them.They very kindly found a slot for me early on a Saturday morning to treat an ingrowing toenail problem which had suddenly surfaced a couple of days before. The key issue was that I was due to go on holiday on the Sunday and no other podiatry services I’d contacted were able to fit me in before I was due to fly out to Spain, most couldn’t even offer a slot within the next week.AKS sorted out my problem and I was able to go off on holiday free from pain.I have since returned to AKS for treatment on other foot problems - again, the service has been excellent.The treatment room is very well equipped and very well maintained- it gives you great confidence that you’re getting a professional service using all the latest modern equipment.All in all, I’ve been delighted with my experience at AKS. I have been using AKS for over 15 years and I have always had very very good service.So much so that when we moved away from the area I could not find a chiropodist/podiatrist that compared so now make the 20 mile round trip.
