I offer to support preparation for KS1 and KS2 SATs, and 11+, 13+ and pre-entry tests including guidance and familiarity with Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning assessments. I have a wealth of experience in this role, developed during many years of teaching full time in primary schools and independent prep schools, where I focused on teaching the core subjects - especially Mathematics.

What do you love most about your job?
I genuinely enjoy this way of working, whereby I can give dedicated attention to each child and respond directly to their needs in a calm and relaxed manner which is enjoyable for all concerned, while also conducive to productive learning.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I retired early from full time teaching primarily to pursue other interests, and having been invited to tutor the children of a family I quickly became drawn into this as an occupation which sits readily among my other activities.

I am a conscientious and well-qualified professional who maintains an ethos of helping children to enjoy learning, and for whom satisfaction is gained when those children want to learn more.
