Jacob and Son was recommended by a friend and I absolutely echo that recommendation. You couldn’t ask for a nicer, more professional and experienced group of removal men. From the very beginning, Steve Jacob made sure that he had remembered the needs of the move by coming round again and making more notes and he was in touch by email too. There was plenty of opportunity to ask questions. On the day they arrived they made light work of the packing and watching them I was impressed by the great care they took of my things and the expert way they packed their boxes. One of the things they did that was very helpful, was label each box with where it was to go in the other house and where appropriate, what was in the box. This made it much easier to unpack the other end. They were artists of their craft and all knew each other well and had worked as a team for years. Phil was the foreman and he worked with Mervin, Elliss, Harry and Sam. They were interesting to talk to and worked incredibly hard all three days of the move. Nothing was too much trouble. When it came to unpacking the lorries into the new house, they did not mind moving furniture to different places in a room if it didn’t look right. They offered to move things again when they collected the boxes later, if I wanted. They were cheerful, positive and realistic about timings and what would go where…or not! Simply the best we moved our mum from Worthing to Sutton Courtenay then had storage plus finally moving on to Southmoor not a hitch nothing was to much trouble this was over a six month period and nothing broken nothing was too much trouble as a customer all we did was ask and Steve and the lads did everything for us if and when we move again they have the job as we can count on the care and honest way we were treated the trucks are a credit to Steve and of course his Drivers they all take great pride in there appearance and the trucks speak for themselves I can’t say a bad word the just get on with the job fantastic customer service
