Michael designed the logo for my company Love Miss D (facebook page lovemissd) He works with fluency, and has a natural ability to interpret a brief and generate lots of interesting and unique ideas. Having worked alongside Michael, his flexibility and the ability to switch from one perspective to another plus his originality in picking unusual association of ideas is second to none.
An extremely professional and conscientious individual. I would definitely recommend working with Michael if your requirement is for originality, that stands out from the crowd

Q&As

A good website has great content, is regularly updated, intuitive, easy to use, and, ideally, has a good visitor-customer conversion rate.

It makes the viewers journey fun, memorable but most importantly, easy to navigate through and find what they originally clicked on your website for.

The main questions would be:

1. What is your project for (why did this idea come about?)
2. What message or end result/goal are you working towards (portray a message/process or perhaps generate new business)
3. Who are you trying to reach with this project? (Who your main target audience is)
4. What is the deadline for the project?

I like to sit with the client with good old fashion pen and paper, run through the project using the questions above as a guideline to establish what is required to fulfil the project needs. Then discuss colours, styles, fonts and imagery required and if any content written or visual will be provided.

Following this, I will then make various quick mock ups with different ideas based on the information given to me to see if I am going in the right direction. This way the client can pick different visual elements from each design that they feel is right or not and this will give a better indication of what the completed project should be.

On agreement with the client, a more polished version is made where more time is spent and greater detail is created. This is then presented to the client to decide on any tweaks or changes before the final version is completed.

If for web, then the service is offered for upload to the clients website (or if the client doesn't have a site, domain and hosting can also be acquired as a service).

If for print, the artwork will be prepared ready for print and a service can also be offered to source and liaise with a printer until the job is printed and delivered.

Most of the information is covered in the first meeting that covers requirements, timescales, colours, styles, fonts and if any content written or visual will be provided.

I have been creative from a young age, starting with help at school creating displays for projects and plays. Creativity is a gift and I love that each day I make something new, I couldn't imagine doing anything else and I feel blessed that I do what I love for a living... though most of the time it doesn't feel like work!!

After freelancing for many years and with a good, strong portfolio of work I decided to become more established. I also think based on conversations with clients that have had previous bad experiences with design companies, that being an established company with good reviews gives a prospective client more confidence to make that first step and contact you.

I have always strived to go above and beyond with every project so that at the end, a client isn't just happy with the result but are left with more than they expected because as a designer it is responsibility to make their idea a reality and to use your expertise and experience to make it more than they imagined.

My projects are costed based only on my time and the experience/skill required. There are no hidden costs or overheads so a client knows from the beginning (unless the project brief changes) what it will cost them and what they will get... with a few unexpected but nice surprises!

I also work with the client throughout the project in stages, asking for opinions and feedback on progress so that we are always following the same direction and no time is wasted.
