Brian and his team have just transformed my kitchen and I could not be more delighted with the result. Brian did a thorough and very professional initial assessment and a reasonable quote which was not susceptible to sudden surprise 'extras' at the end. The work then proceeded exactly as he had outlined. He and his team were courteous, punctual, very hard working and meticulous about cleaning up at the end of each day and, especially at the end, when the kitchen was cleaner than it has ever been in living memory! Really impressed by Brian’s professionalism, expertise, enthusiasm and exacting high standards. He was very communicative, and managed the works at every step. His quotes were fair and competitive.Advanced Painters of Dulwich painted my bedroom, and re-purposed the decking and re-painted the outside walls of my terrace to an excellent standard. I also had some electrical works that needed doing; Brian leveraged his extensive network of quality, trusted tradesmen to source an electrician at a favourable rate. They team were very thorough with their prep and focussed on quality of execution for that high-end finish. Malachi, Neil and James were conscientious, respectful, good-humoured and well mannered. I especially appreciated that they left the place in a clean and tidy state. Advanced Painters come highly recommended by us! The hallway and stairs (a 3 story victorian house in Herne Hill) have been transformed in under a week and look fantastic. I highly recommend Brian and Malachi for your painting services. Our walls had been left in a bad condition from previous workmen and Brian and Malachi really worked wonders and completed the job to a high end finish. The guys were extremely friendly, professional and worked incredibly hard throughout the days. We will 100% be hiring them in the future for our painting needs. The Advanced Painters team has just finished painting the interior of our modern two bedroom flat, and we are really delighted with the results. The painting has been done to a great standard, and is incredibly neat - this reflects the continued professionalism and care with which the team approached the job as a whole. They have also transformed our kitchen by repainting the (relatively ugly!) wooden cupboards a very cool blue/grey, transforming the space for a fraction of the price of a whole new kitchen. This was a suggestion made by Advanced Painters when initially surveying the flat, as a way for us to save costs.Brian and the Advanced Painters team are lovely to work with - exceptionally friendly, punctual and hard-working. They were also honest and upfront about costs from the beginning, and had a frank discussion with us about what they could and couldn’t do within our budget. Advanced Painters did a great job at my flat. I had bathroom ceiling on which the paint had cracked badly because it hadn't been sealed properly after plastering and a myriad of other plasterwork cracks around the property. They achieved a really professional finish on all areas and when things went horribly wrong (the paint I gave them had discoloured) they stayed until the early hours and did an extra day's work to get the job finished on schedule. I really appreciated this, as they could easily have told me they'd have to come back later to finish the work. Furthermore, they didn't charge me anything extra for the extra work. Our hallway, stairs, landing and toilet badly needed redecorating. We asked Advanced Painters to provide a quote and Brian came along and took extensive notes of all our requirements. In addition he advised us on the best way of achieving the results we wanted. His quote was very competitive and within a fortnight his team had started work. Brian and the team have just finished decorating two bedrooms, the sitting room and the hall in our flat, and it looks absolutely amazing!
The attention to detail in the work is very obvious, and it the end result was even better than I had hoped.
Throughout the process Advanced Decorators were great - they were incredibly polite, efficient and trustworthy as well as very careful of all of our belongings that were piled all over the place. We lived in the flat while they were working, and they worked around us as though it was no problem at all. Even though quite a lot of work needed to be done, they finished on time and even worked through the weekend to make sure it was all done when they said it would be.
I will definitely be getting in touch with Brian when we come to decorate the kitchen and bathroom in due course, and would very much recommend them to anyone looking for a top-notch decorator in the Dulwich area.

I would like to add another recommendation for Advanced Painters. Brian and his team completed the work quickly and it looks really beautiful, can't find fault anywhere. They painted 7 doors from scratch and all the skirting and architrave on two floors. They also painted our staircase a dark blue and all the lines against the white are impressively accurate! Will definitely use the again for any painting needs. Also worth mentioning that we have a baby and a four year old and they worked around us (not easy) - always polite and considerate.
