Large choice of drinks, good service and clean toilets. The only negative part is that they are closing to early in week days

Busy pub near the O2. Even though it was v busy there was enough staff to ensure you are not waiting too long. Serves a decent pint of ale. Good selection of ales and lager.

Do yourself a favour and take a 10-minute stroll through the park from the O2 to this proper pub with good drinks, good food and a great atmosphere. You won't regret it.

Food (though a little on the pricey side) was freshly prepared and tasty. Drinks, at least wine was sheer extortion at £10 per glass. Probably cheaper at the O2 buy for quality of food The Pilot has the edge. More...

This pub/hotel is the perfect place to stay if you are going to the 02 for anything. It is very well situated with parking and the rooms are quirky but comfortable. Despite being near roads, it was quiet and the rooms well appointed. The pub has a lovely garden, large terrace and inside is large but with spaces that provide quieter, intimate areas. The breakfast, which is included in the price, is very good with much to choose from. I didn’t have other food at the pub but what was being served to others looked very good and nothing was left on the plates, which was a good sign! I thoroughly recommend this little jewel. More...

Loved this little place - wanted somewhere within walking distance of the O2 and this didnt disappoint.Took us about 8 minutes to get to the O2 Quirky rooms individually furnished with dark painted walls with a mix of traditional and contemporary pieces - a real treat. A little expensive but would definitely go back.Breakfast delicious and the Sauvignon Blanca we had in the bar before the concert was divine.Staff friendly and was with my gorgeous friend and we laughed all through our stay.Highly recommended! This was our second stay at The Pilot, after discovering this little gem last year. So convenient for the O2 - we were coming for the tennis, and it's great to be able to trot down to the hotel to check in leave bigger bags in the room between the day and evening sessions. Both times we've visited staff have been very friendly and welcoming, and it's great to have the separate entrance to the rooms, so you don't have to come through the bar on the way back if you don't want to. The pub seems lively and popular (if the delicious breakfasts are anything to go by, the food is probably very good!), but all the noise stops before 11.30pm and after that it's actually pretty quiet overnight, being a little tucked away from the main roads. Coincidentally, we had the same rooom as last year, and although pretty compact, it's got everything you need and the bed is nice and comfortable. The ensuite is big and the shower lovely and hot. Love the quirky decor too! We will definitely be back next year. I don't earn a fortune (public sector worker!), and I'd much rather spend it on one comfortable night here than two in a big, bland chain hotel. And of course, for this nineties teenager, the Blur connection puts the icing on the cake! More...

Roast beef dinner superb, if anything would like the roast potatoes a bit crisper and a little green veg on the plate to add some colour, but all in all great. Lovely pub, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. More...

Here's a pub to visit if you can find it .Its surrounded by high rise apartments on the edge of Greenwich Peninsula. It's a great pub to come to when you have been to a concert at the 02 nearby or to have a meal and a drink .

Dropped the daughter off at the o2 for a concert. Bit of a rare opportunity for me and the Mrs to have a night out.|Had a wander down the road and came across The Pilot. |Sharing mezze platter was fantastic. Enough for four really if you want nibbles.|Other 0.5 enjoyed her chicken and I scoffed the real ale beef pie with creamy mash and greens. Very good value. We called into here whilst on our way to our pre-booked hotel, as it was raining and we needed some lunch. It was so nice and staff were friendly and food was fab. If we had know this was here, we would have booked our night here as its a ten min walk to the 02 and near the river too! We will definitely book a room here on our next visit to the 02. More...
