We moved from a large house (in Dalton) to a much smaller one (in Kendal), which creates plenty of difficulties for removals. These were all dealt with effectively and with no fuss. Colin, Alan and Adam work very well as a team, and are good company while they are working. They did all the packing; nothing was damaged or spoiled. All the work was done carefully and sensibly; this is reassuring – moving house is worrying enough as it is. There were a couple of really awkward problems moving in, e.g. a large couch through a small doorway. These were solved with intelligence, determination and imagination. It would have been easy to say, “Sorry, it can’t be done”, and we would probably have believed it. They did everything they were supposed to do; no skimping, no loose ends.A1’s quote was the highest of the four we got. They were worth every penny. More...
