I decide to hold our Christmas party at home and we asked Estefania to help following a fantastic night I had with her as cook previously and it had been super. Estefania arrived so calm and collective and simply went into my kitchen and did her thing - she was polite, very, caring and the food was exceptional. Estefania and her wonderful helpers brought us some great tapas for our wedding celebration. We had close to 50 guests in our small garden and they all left praising the food and the friendliness of Estefania, Susie and Ruby. They came, set up, cooked and cleaned the kitchen without us even noticing! It allowed us to enjoy our guest as opposed to being slave to the kitchen as in other parties. I completely recommend Que Rico Tapas for the professionalism, as well as the tasty food they prepare! Now I just have to think of other reasons to hire them! Estefania came to our house with everything we needed to create a special birthday tapas lunch. The group was totally mixed from 14 to 60, both male and female and we all loved it! Estefanía’s tapas are excellent and she uses high quality, authentic products from Spain. One of her most memorable dishes was a "pie" with a top crust with layers of morcilla de Burgos (Spanish black pudding) and piquillo peppers!

It's often difficult to find truly authentic Spanish food outside of Spain, but Estefania brings Spain and its incredible flavours straight to Cambridge! Delicious food, always with that little 'toque diferente' that makes her cooking extra special. For me, one dish that is the marker of an excellent Spanish cook is the tortilla de patatas - which Estefania does beautifully (better than even my grandmother's!) Estefania is a huge talent. Her knowledge of Spain, it’s culture and particularly it’s food, is extensive and she shares her expertise with great enthusiasm and charm. Having attended many of the Que Rico events, I’ve been lucky enough to sample a huge range of Spanish delicacies from all over the country. Most evenings focus on one particular region and Estefania puts wonderful effort into producing menus that beautifully celebrate each place and the best local and seasonal ingredients that grow there, as well as traditional dishes rooted in the area’s history.
Her cooking combines everything from mouth watering traditional dishes to elegant tapas made with innovative new produce and flavoursome, rustic meals to perfectly plated, refined masterpieces. Her tomato jelly with anchovies and basil is to die for, her croqetas, second to none and her pork and almond meatballs, one of my favourite discoveries. She also sources some of the most exceptional Spanish cheeses and cured meats that you’d struggle to find elsewhere in the UK. At any given event, you can be sure of trying an infinity of different flavours and learning lots in the process. What a wonderful evening we had with Estefania bringing amazing Spanish food to our home.Her love and passion for Spanish fresh ingredients and original recipes from all over Spain brought our special event together. Truly scrummy, authentic flavours of Spain, in the shape of innovative and traditional tapas cooked for you or with you for the full experience! I have attended 2 events at Cambridge Wine Merchants, a fantastic 5 course taste experience from different regions with wines to match each course. Estefania also provided a brilliant party with a difference when she divided my guests into teams and taught each group to make different tapas. Estafania came to our home to provide 12 of us with a specially chosen menu for my birthday - somewhere between tapas and a 5 course meal. Truly delicious. We couldn’t decide whether our favourite was the homemade croquettas de pollo or the beef cheeks - or even just the sharing platter of authentic Spanish meats and cheeses. Estefania presented a superb 3 course meal for Willingham Wine Appreciation Society at Cambridge Wine Merchants, Cherry Hinton Rd on Saturday may 12th. The food was superb and excellently served despite the limited conditions she had to work with. I have been using "Que rico tapas" in three different occasions, one for a company event and two for personal events. The experience has been fantastic in all three. I was positively surprised specially on the company event since even though we could not provide a room where it could be easy for them to make the final arrangements that they needed, they managed to successfully get everything ready and provide the catering to nearly 100 people. I had eaten Que Rico Tapas at Cambridge wine merchants, which was excellent and I had no hesitation to book them for a corporate event we held on Waternimf the luxuary barge hotel in Ely.

Estefania was a delight to work with, making menu suggestions which took into consideration a non-mushroom eating vegetarian, a pescatarian and a nut allergy.

She and her staff served beautifully presented canapes followed by five courses, each matched by wines from Cambridge Wine Merchants. The dishes were universally praised and were beautifully suited to the occasion, and weather.

The whole evening was perfect, couldn't make any suggestions for improvement. We will most likely book Que Rico again. More...

Attended a "Cocktails and Tapas" evening for which the chef/owner made five delicious tapas and worked with a mixologist to present each dish paired with a cocktail, and narrated the significance of each dish along the way.
