The fitness world can lack integrity at times. There's a literal sea of trainers and product slingers all trying to make a sale. Whether the intention is good or not doesn't really matter - what matters is your health, and getting the results that you are paying for.
I've been training myself since 1999, and I've been lucky enough to have had some amazing mentors during that time.
I will say this: the gym is one of the few relationships in life where you get out exactly what you put in... The trick is to be putting your effort into something effective 🧠
