We recently moved from Gloucester and contracted DRL for the move. The team, very well led by Les, arrived punctually and completed the packing and van loading in a well organised and timely manner. The move into the forth floor flat in Cheltenham was no less impressive. The team completed the move and were all still smiling at the end despite the physical challenge at times! Les led his team extremely well in an organised, logical way and showed great leadership qualities in the way the team performed. Such a good bunch of people.Very pleasant experience from quotation stage right through to the moving day.DRL moved us from Cheltenham to Manchester. The completion date kept changing over 3 months due to people in the chain but DRL never abandoned us, always come up with solution to accommodate us. The guys were courteous, competent, lively, professional and all came at a very reasonable price. They had all protective bags and blankets for furnitures, TV, mirrors etc. All were packed safe and secure.Thank you DRL, you have made such a nice ending to our relocation process. “We were having great difficulty in finalising the sale of our house and time was running out on us at the end of November because we were flying off to spend the month of December with our son and his family in Australia.

Our Estate Agent recommended DRL as being extremely flexible and obliging – and so it turned out. We had a visit from Duncan on the Monday, followed by a quotation with an excellent price. The house Exchange of Contracts was delayed and delayed and, eventually, went through at 4.45 pm on the Thursday of that same week! Duncan had his team pencilled in for a Thursday move which was then delayed to the Friday!! I phoned him at 4.50 pm (he needed to know by 5pm!) and he and his team swung into action. They packed us up on the Friday (with a few last-minute bits on the Saturday morning) and moved us in to our new abode on the Saturday. A car came to pick us up at 6 am on the Sunday to take us to the airport!

The DRL team were all incredible. They worked extremely hard and professionally but still had time to pull each other’s legs and enjoy a laugh with us. The teamwork was excellent and they put in a very long day on the Friday. Despite that late finish, they arrived at our new home – a first-floor flat (with lift!) on the Saturday morning and worked like Trojans until the job was finished.

We are so grateful for the ‘can-do’ attitude, the care, the precision, the good humour and the sheer hard work and effort which you all put in. Coupled with that, Duncan, you rescued us from a very difficult situation where despair was setting in.

We are happy to whole-heartedly recommend DRL for a fantastic service. If you’re moving, you can put yourself in their hands and relax.”
