Jose and his team were absolutely wonderful with rough finishing our attic. We had no internal access and no flooring (just exposed joists) so the attic was pretty useless and unsafe. We'd received a few other quotes, and Jose is competitively priced. His wasn't the cheapest we received, but based on his estimate and the clear understanding he had of the project and what his plan was, we chose Zurc Construction because we wanted a contractor that looked a project from every angle and really understood the scope, rather than someone who would just do the bare minimum.Zurc Construction installed sister joists and totally reinforced the ceiling support so they could add OSB flooring, a pony wall, and make it much safer to access. They installed a pulldown ladder and did a beautiful job framing the access point. They kept everything super clean and adhered to all COVID protocols. Jose is super responsive and was happy to answer any questions we had along the way. He is also very proactive and if he sees something that might be problematic or that you might want to have input on, he always checks with you before continuing with the project. We were incredibly nervous about such a big job (you never know what you might find in attics!), but we knew that Jose and his team could handle it, and we couldn't be happier. Jose and Chevo did an incredible job on our gorgeous new bathroom floor! <br><br>We needed our bathroom sub-floor and tile replaced because the shower was leaking. When Jose gave me a quote, he didn&#39;t second-guess the tile I&#39;d already bought (another contractor did). <br><br>Jose was up-front with a concern that we wouldn&#39;t be able to match some original tile I wanted to keep. We figured out a solution, and that care and attention to detail throughout the project was so important -- the floor turned out even better than I hoped. <br><br>They were also patient and persistent -- I messed up ordering the tile I wanted twice and Jose didn&#39;t make me feel bad about the delay. Then they arrived quickly to finish the floor as soon as the correct tile arrived.<br><br>We will absolutely call Zurc next time we need a floor or any other repair/remodeling service they provide.
