Very nice.  Clearly, a neighborhood spot. I had a salad and the Chicken Anastasia. I always look at salad as a pretty good barometer of overall food freshness and it scored a 10.  The chicken was tender and juicy and seasoned very nicely.  The waitstaff was very attentive, my compliments to all.  You'll be seeing me again! I love Zudar's for a simple Sunday meal. It's really conveniently located next to Publix on Bayshore so could always be a pit stop before some grocery shopping or errands. It's a fusion between a smaller restaurant and diner style vibes. Decided to try the simple French toast, which was satisfying and served with a side of fresh fruit. Their black coffee is always my go to but the real draw of this place is the $14 dollar bottomless mimosas on the weekends.On top of that deal, everything is extremely reasonably priced for the area and you get decent portion sizes. In the past I've had the quiche Lorraine which was enough for two meals for me and the chocolate stuffed French toast which was delicious. They also have combo platters like the Westshore and Bayshore when you can't decide if you want sweet or savory. More...

My husband and I ordered two sandwiches.  While they were healthy with meat and toppings mine was tasteless.  My husband was thrilled that you served crinkle cut fries!  We also ordered the spinach, cheddar blue crab dip.  Very disappointing as it has the consistency of soup, led us to wonder where the crab was and was inedible.  As we did carryout we did not realize that until we got home.  And it was $13!!!! I stopped by for lunch and it was perfect.  Started with a bowl of Hungarian Beef Cabbage soup then had a smoked turkey sandwich (lots of turkey! ) on Kaiser with lettuce, tomato and mayo.  Excellent!  Everything is made fresh in-house, including a wide variety of desserts.  I'm definitely coming back! Very good. Quaint local atmosphere. I ordered grilled  fish sandwich without the bread and fries. The fish was seasoned perfectly, not over seasoned, lettuce, tomatoes and onions were very fresh. I'm not big on tarter but found this one to be lighter than most. I liked it. All for a good price. Ashli's bubbly personality welcomed me when I walked in the door. She described the menu very well, including the great pies. I ate the farmer's frittata. Really enjoyed the mushrooms as they really provided great flavor. Craft beer and liquor available; bottomless mimosas on the weekends, so I will check that out at a later date. Moved back to Tampa and relocated to the S. Tampa area. Have heard great things about this restaurant. Tried it for the first time tonight! ! It was awesome!! I ordered take and everything in my order was correct. I had the T-Rex burger animal style with a side salad. It was cooked as ordered and the bacon was very crispy! It was worth every penny! Samantha our waitress was wonderful! The Cabbage soup was to die for, rich and slightly sour with a good beefy heartiness and slightly sweet finish. Our Moscow mules were nicely chilled in nice copper mugs with plenty of ginger flavor. Then there was the huge salad we split with ham cheese, olives and a nice oil and vinegar dressing. Great little place close to the convention center. I had a day to myself and stopped in for breakfast. I was happily surprised to find I could get a Mimosa and my server was generous on the champagne portion. I had quiche Lorraine which was excellent. My husband and I love Zudar's!  We go there for breakfast/brunch almost every weekend.  Staff is always helpful & friendly, and food is reasonably priced.  They have a nice selection as well.  We have been there only once for happy hour but loved the beer & wine selection.The only suggestion is to offer bottomless bloody Mary's in addition to mimosas. :) More...
