I have had the extreme pleasure of working with Adam Parchert and Zillion Social Media for the past 6 years. Adam has managed the Social Media responsibilities for all the hotels we have managed over that time and I have found him to be a partner in the Revenue Management and Online Reputation realm in every hotel type we have worked on together from Select Service, Extended Stay and Full-Service Brands to small boutique hotels and larger Las Vegas Casino properties.
Adam has managed our social media content, graphics, messaging and direct interactions with our property teams and guests. The Zillion Social Media team has done a great job of creating and maintaining the SM voice of each hotel. They have developed relevant and interactive content to focus on relationship building and demand driving during times of need. They have a finger on all events and points of interest in every relevant market including the hotel locations and their feeder markets.
The other critical aspect that Adam and his team have been able to successfully manage is real time monitoring of market events and specifically hotel mentions and guest feedback around the clock. Adam was personally monitoring our hotel in Las Vegas when the October 1, 2017 shooting took place and was contacting myself and the General Manager by phone as the events of the night were unfolding. I hope that no other hoteliers will ever experience what our team did that night, but it was critical to be there as people quickly took to SM for help.
Associated Hotels, LLC has taken a stand that engaging and monitoring the SM space is an important aspect of any business today. We view these channels as an extension of our phone system and being available to respond when someone “calls” is critical. Zillion Social Media has allowed us to be there 24/7 to answer that call with a Brand message and property level voice while developing relationships with new and existing guests along the way.
