I recommend Zarazua Painting to everyone I know. They provide exceptional customer service and quality work for a wide range of projects. And every person who represents the business is reliably friendly, professional, and client-oriented. Before an extensive renovation, I received estimates from four of the most highly recommended painters in the Triangle. Zarazua's estimate for the job was literally half the price of some other service providers' best offers. Scheduling the job couldn't have been easier. **** and his team were consistent and professional. They removed popcorn ceilings, patched and painted, and performed a number of handyman jobs in a very short amount of time. We had a huge tree fall on our house and needed a lot of sheetrock, drywall, and painting work done and also needed our entire screened in porch rebuilt.  I am incredibly happy with my experience with Zarazua.  Not only did the quality of work exceed my expectations, but everyone I encountered was wonderful to work with (which is important when doing a longer term job).  This was a large job which-in addition to the other tasks I noted- also included floor installation, building a beautiful window seat, installing windows and doors and more.  They managed the job wonderfully, including all the punch list items that I've had issues with when working with other companies. Juan and his various crews at Zarazua are absolutely fantastic to work with. This was my second time using Zarazua, and the scope of the project was quite large, and entailed: exterior trim work (including replacing of rotten wood, priming, painting), shed painting, siding painting, front door and shutter painting, brick repair, pressure washing, door hardware replacement, and the construction of new steps and railings for a deck. Zarazua painted our interior last year and did such a first class job that we just had them return to install hardwood floors. We had existing hardwoods which were sanded to match the new floors. We used Juan to paint an entire house in preparation for selling it. He advised us on popular colors and his team did an amazing job. We weren’t initially going to paint cabinets but after seeing them we knew it made the kitchen pop.
We also used his advice and recommendations for replacement of countertops which really made the house look great and very updated.
From start to finish we had a great experience and sold the house.
He also did our sons house and it was a remarkable improvement and his crew came back until our kids ( who are really picky) were totally satisfied. They went above and beyond in so many ways.

I don't even know where to start... These guys are amazing. From day 1 when Juan came in to give us an estimate on the entire work, to Mario, working with us making sure we are happy with every single details, to Trinidad, explaining us details of the work and helping us make right decisions as we go, to Wendy, helping us organize things - these guys are amazing! Our house is pretty big, and we bought it in a questionable condition. I was skeptic about one company fixing everything we wanted the way we wanted. Not only they double and triple checked their own work to make sure that there are no glitches anywhere on the walls or floor, but they actually repainted part of our bathroom when we realized that we didn't like the color that we picked - for free! They went back and forth to the house for weeks with us to make sure that we were happy with the way our deck looks, and answered all the questions we had about it. And my favorite story is that when the hose on the side of the house (i'm telling you, it is an older house) got accidentally unplugged, Juan had his plumber (another man who knows what he does!) come and fix it within 24 hours. I could tell more stories and bring more examples of how these guys are second to none, but I suggest you hire them and make your own experiences with them. When three separate parties highly recommended Zarazua Painting to us, we took notice. Juan gave a very fair price, painting the entire house, refinish the floors and brought in a crew to open a wall. The work performed was of supreme quality, beautifully finished and Juan was at the worksite multiple times each day to make sure that everything went well. He's just terrific to work with, highly responsive and meticulous. I want to write to say how great an experience I had with Zarazua Painting. I had some ceiling drywall work done by a contractor who did not do a very good job. I called Zarazua painting to see if they could fix the problems from the previous contractor and paint my ceiling. Zarazua Painting was very professional, provided a written estimate with different options, and worked with me to get something scheduled in just a couple of days. Zarzua Painting is a great company, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.  I have used them for two large painting jobs: (1) exterior deck, fence, and porch painting/staining, and (2) repainting the interior of our house, including walls, trim, and ceilings.  They are responsive to phone calls/emails and were quick to work us in to their schedule.  Prices are reasonable and work is done on time, as scheduled.  The painting crew left our house incredibly clean at the end of each day; we barely noticed they were there.  The house looks absolutely beautiful!  We are so happy with how it turned out!  Their attention to detail and high quality work are greatly appreciated.  I would not hesitate to recommend or use this company again! a company done the prep work Juan's team did; they replaced rotted wood, refitted windows, repaired gutters and made no noise while doing it. They painted INSIDE

Zarazua Painting painted two houses for us. The prep work that was done on each was very thorough. The color scheme on each house remained the same, but the type and quality of paint Juan used added a richness and a luster to the colors that was not there before. I had a great experience with Zarazua painting. They arrived on-time, the owner came in first to discuss the process with me and was very friendly and respectful of my space. Once he and I finished going over what would be done he introduced me to the crew that would actually paint and they were nice and respectful young men. I NEVER leave anyone in my house alone, but I left them. After they completed the job they cleaned up and made sure I was pleased with their work. I very highly recommend Zarazua painting company. We have used Zarazua Painting twice. Last summer we hired them to paint our exterior without a second bid. Crazy? No, since one of our friends had used them in multiple houses for years and said this was the best painting contractor around. We did not regret our decision. The bid seemed fair; the owner very professional. We've used painting contractors in various locations over the years and were amazed by the efficiency and professionalism of the crew. Everyone had a specific job and got right to work. From the power washing to the prep to the actual painting, all was done perfectly. When rain slowed the progress and threatened to go past the finish date, Juan threw on 2 extra crews over the weekend to finish on time. We have sung his praises since. ZARAZUA PAINTING did extensive exterior painting of my Cape Cod brick house; extensive complicated trim; and wood siding as well as interior of back screened porch. They did not paint the brick as it was not necessary yet. The whole crew was very competent, went above and beyond to do good sanding and caulking, and some fascia board replacement before they painted. Zarazua Painting removed the old popcorn ceilings and repainted the interior of our home. It was a big job.

They moved the big furniture, covered them up well, and worked around the furniture, which was very helpful.

They replaced all the kitchen cabinet hardware, exchanged many light fixtures, hung mirrors and towel racks, replaced air vents, and exchanged all the interior and most of the exterior door handles.
Juan gave valuable input on colors.

They even completed the work of a granite vendor who was not as thorough as Zarazua Painting is in their work.

When there was work his crew could not do, Juan was able to recommend other vendors (electrician) who was extremely helpful and good.

Painting the inside of a home can be stressful when you are living there at the same time. Juan came by daily to see progress and check in with us.

The paint and ceilings look like a new home now.

Juan did all he said he would do, and much much more. I definitely recommend Zarazua Painting.

An 1806 house with layers of paint is no easy task. Zarazua workers were thoroughly professional and accomplished a fantastic result.
