I have to take a moment to share with you all the the incredible services of You're The Boss Weddings & Events. Our wedding venue was a beautiful mountainside space, and it was also VERY challenging for Erin and her team to have access pre-wedding, transport staff, equipment, food and beverages up a mountainous dirt road, set up the outside spaces for the ceremony and cocktail hour, and the indoor space for the reception.

In addition to an outstanding and delicious menu, she created a mind-blowing foraging table and mini Viennese table that were unequal in choice and deliciousness to any event I’ve attended (and I’ve attended a lot). Beside all this, she and her team coordinated the arrival and payment for all the other vendors (and there were many), created the most beautiful bouquets and table centerpieces, and made sure to stock our favorite wines and Scotches. Throughout the entire event, our maitre d, Anne, made sure no detail was overlooked and everything ran smoothly.

We worked with Erin and her team for our 9/21 wedding at Emmerich Tree farm for catering, florals, decor and coordination. It was truly a breeze and a delight to work with them. I gave Erin minimal instruction as far as florals and decor and she knocked it out of the park. She totally got our vision from the get-go, understood what was and wasn’t important to us, and really delivered. Our guests raved about everything — particularly that all of the food was amazing, from the cocktail hour spread to dinner & desserts — and they were a very large tough crowd to please! I found Erin and her crew when I was planning my upstate NY wedding from Long Island NY. I was interested in Erin's work as I saw her on Instagram do several weddings at the Emmerich Tree Farm. My husband and I met with Erin, we told her our expectations and our price range, she helped us lower that range while still getting everything we could ever dream of and more. Planning a wedding over the phone was not easy, and it was quite stressful at times. Erin, Victoria, and Anne were the main people I was in contact with it. Victoria helped me with providing transportation, as well as the hotel set up. Anne helped conduct our ceremony, all three dealt with me while I was full bridezilla and they did everything they could to keep me calm and reassure me that everything would be ok. The venue my husband and I chose was The Brady Farm in Warwick, NY... this venue is basically a blank slate only providing you with the grounds, we had to bring in everything, and Erin made sure everything went to par. I told her my vision and she exceeded my expectations she designed my flowers, and put together décor to tie it all together. We also used Erin and her team as our caterer, we met with her in April for a tasting and were able to chose what we wanted off the menu - she also gave me the option to add to the menu my favorite items from places I love. I was able to have on my menu an exact replica of my favorite salad from a restaurant in Long Island that Erin had never even been to! She provided some of the best food I had ever had at a wedding, and have been complimented by many of my guests as well. My theme was rustic/ chic which she nailed perfectly, we were able to add things last minute and she even helped me with ordering invitations and detailed pieces from Zazzle. Erin also gave recommendations on other vendors to use and helped me find the best pricing when it came to getting rentals for chairs, tables, and bathroom services. I contacted Erin to hire her for the NY wedding I was planning from CA. I was thrilled to hear that she could take care of not only the food and the cake, but also the flowers, the planning, decorating and day-of coordination. I didn’t feel one ounce of that wedding-planning-stress I had heard so much about, and I attribute that to Erin and her YTB team. I was prepared to have some challenges planning a cross country wedding but there were none. She was responsive when I had questions and ideas, thorough with her end of the planning, and couldn’t have been kinder. When our wedding day came, we worked with Anne and Jessica who kept everything running smoothly and made sure my husband and I were happy and hydrated all night. Erin cooked the most delicious food that our guests are still talking about, and nobody left hungry. Multiple guests even asked what she used for the entree courses so that they could replicate them at home. We had a long run-up to our wedding with about 20 months of time to plan. Erin and everyone at YTB! was absolutely amazing. She helped us find our other vendors, and they all worked seamlessly together at our venue Emmerich Tree Farm. The decor was stunning, the food was delicious, the staff were helpful and made us feel supported all day, and we didn't have to worry at all about set-up and take-down. I would highly recommend Erin to anyone. Our one small issue had to do with the fact that Erin is very busy and does many events. While this comes with experience that is invaluable, sometimes we had to send multiple emails or texts to get a response. But this was a VERY small thing, and all of the amazing work that Erin and her team did made up for it a thousand times over. More...

When I was looking into planning a wedding at a venue that was more on the DIY side, I was so glad to have run across Erin at YTBEvents! Although I wanted the feel of a rustic, DIY event, my husband and I are NOT CREATIVE AT ALL so we were stunned when we read that YTBEvents does pretty much every single thing you need under one roof. I was able to not stress too much about execution of decor detail the day of, because Erin took care of the flowers & all decor; she also provided our wedding cake (of which I sadly did not get to eat any ...but everyone loved it) and day-of-coordination services. She pretty much took care of everything so that I wouldn't have to worry about anything day-of! She was also super flexible and when I had certain things I wanted implemented, it was always a quick "no problem"!. Most of all, for all the services she provides, everything is SUPER affordable (flowers were probably 1/2 the price what I was quoted at other places, for example). I know YTB is worth way more than they currently are priced at, so I would get onto it now when they are just starting off officially as its own company (although Erin has done weddings for years now).

All in all, super affordable, great for a rustic/DIY wedding (YTBEvents has so much in-house decor to use, and since they are still building out, always has new inventory they're adding), and perfect for streamlining the number of vendors you're dealing with for your wedding. There are a few venues that the team is super familiar with, but even if the venue is not on their often-visited list I highly recommend them so that you can take advantage of the skill and support a local business offers! Erin from You're the Boss does it all! From wedding planning, to coordinating, catering and decorating. I used her for the catering, planning, and decorating of my wedding day and everything came out just as I had hoped. Erin was always responsive and guided me every step of the way leading up to our wedding day. Her catering is outstanding and our guests had raving reviews on the food and especially the desserts! The table arrangements came out just as I envisioned and her and the staff (espcially Tyler) made the day as stress free as possible despite the rain that decided to show up unexpectedly. Words are not enough to express how well Erin and her team brought our dream wedding to life. Guests were ranting and raving about the details, the flowers and desserts, all provided by YTB! . Erin and her team from You're the Boss Weddings and Events are stellar! Their full service planning does not begin to describe what they do. They execute planning, catering, designing and so much more, absolutely seamlessly! There are many good event companies in our area, but none like YTB. Erin in hands-on in every way and her attention to detail is incredible. As an event pro myself, I knew that the food for my husband's 50th birthday needed to be delicious. It couldn't just be BBQ and Italian food, it needed to be YTB's! Everyone was happy, very full and there were very few leftovers (that was the sad part since we will have eaten Erin's food for days off we could have!) Catherine was part of Erin's team for the event and I was thrilled! She came in to help set up, made sure I didn't get overwhelmed and was obviously a pro. I knew from working with Erin and Catherine before that we were in great hands, but it was so important that I was able to enjoy my husband's party, too. Erin made rainbow cupcakes with butter cream frosting for our wedding shower a couple months ago. Erin was a great Wedding Coordinator! I planned my Camp wedding from A to Z on my own but knew that with the logistics of a weekend wedding as well as being at a Summer camp, that I was going to need some extra hands the weekend of. Erin and her assistant Kate were an enormous help. The logistics of a camp wedding are all over the place and they helped to make everything run smoothly from check in, to meals, activities, moving bars around the campsite, assisting with my table settings (which I messed up last minute and Erin totally saved me by hand writing herself!!). I did not have a wedding party or any MOH to help with the planning. Erin felt like an old friend and was great at advice leading up to the weekend and bouncing ideas off of when I couldn't sleep at night and was thinking of random wedding things. Since this is my first rodeo and obviously not hers that was greatly appreciated. Erin also has a plethora of awesome décor pieces from birch rounds or crates, to galvanized tubs for welcome cocktails or our bloody mary bar. She brought all of these free of charge which was a huge help to personalize and also saved me a ton on budget. Erin also is an amazing baker. On top of all the above she made us two delicious homemade custom cakes. One funfetti birthday cake which we were bale to sing to my many guests who celebrated a birthday over our wedding weekend, and a 2nd grooms cake customized with the NYMets logo and our initials and wedding date. Both cakes were delicious and a perfect personalized touch for the weekend. Her rates for the cakes were extremely reasonable I will be coming back for more of the Peanut Butter :) I would 100% recommend Erin for any wedding or event you are throwing in the area. More...

Erin is fantastic at organizing events, especially those that require extra attention to details. She organized an intimate rehearsal dinner at the Caldwell House Bed & Breakfast for friends and family before the big day. She incorporated little winks at the new families heritage, predominately their Polish side. She worked hard to stay within the budget and added affordable options to the menu that the couple could choose as add-ons. Erin & her staff are AMAZING! I have used Erin for several events but my wedding was the most important event of my life. Not only did she meet with me to make sure my vision was clearly represented but she went above and beyond for me . She added so many touches that I totally forgot about. My wedding was styled to perfection, I couldn't have done this without her. Not to mention she also made my wedding cake since I am gluten free I did not want some gross dry cupcake my venue would have provided, she created a beautiful 2 tier wedding cake with a custom design to match the theme of my wedding and it tasted AMAZING ( it was a samoa girl scout cookie cake). I will keep hiring Erin and her staff over and over and over for anything.
