What kind of accounting services do you provide?
Your Accounting Department LLC (YAD) is primarily focused on providing Bookkeeping, Payroll and Accounting Services to assist you in making better management decisions about the profitability of your company. In addition, we provide year-end documentation to your CPA or tax person.

A great accountant will have the background and experience to assist you with an understanding of how your business is operating. Communications is one of the major factors you should be considering. Accountants generally like to work alone. So, you need to find someone who has great customer service skills and the ability to respond within 24 hours if not sooner to any questions you might have.
What do you love most about your job?
Numbers, numbers, numbers! Somehow I am able to see relationships within numbers and I like to share that information with others. What is your profitability like, your cash flow. How to keep your expenses in check. I just love everything about it.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After spending my corporate career working as a CFO for a $100 million company and 10 years as an Operations Office for a $14 million company I figured that I had a very rounded background in Accounting and Operations that my knowledge and skills would be beneficial to smaller companies that were either just starting out or wanted to elevate their company to the next level. So I started a bookkeeping firm that would facilitate that purpose.
